For your 2015 Lincoln MKZ, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24897. Unlike the Curt model that is also confirmed to fit your vehicle, the installation of this hitch will allow you to trim and reinstall the underbody panel/fascia for accommodation with the hitch receiver and crosstube. On the Curt model, this panel is completely removed and cannot be reinstalled.

This Class I hitch will use existing holes in your Lincoln's frame for a no-drill installation. It will provide you with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening and it has a 200 pound tongue weight capacity. I have attached an installation video on the 2014 model MKZ that you can use for reference. The process will be almost identical for your 2015 model.

Then for a cargo carrier that will work nicely with this hitch and your vehicle, I recommend the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145. This is a really nice, rust-resistant carrier that features inside (usable) dimensions of 46-3/8 inches long, 17-9/16 inches wide, and 5-1/2 inches deep. It weighs just 29 pounds to allow for easy installation and removal. You might consider pairing this carrier with a Cargo Bag like the MaxxTow # MT70209 to protect your gear from the elements.

I also recommend adding the Locking Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin # S64029 to secure the carrier to your vehicle and help deter theft.

I have attached a few video demonstrations on these products that you can also check out.

Do you have a little wider cargo carrier something for like a push mower? Or do you think the one you referred me to would be good for that?

The Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145 has an inside width of 17-9/16 inches. You can take a quick measurement on your mower to see if it will fit within this space. A better option though might be with the Curt Cargo Carrioer # C18110. This cargo carrier has a larger inside width of 19-1/2 inches and a length of 47-11/16 inches. Its mesh floor will also provide a flatter surface for supporting your mower and the lower side walls will allow for easier loading and unloading. You can add some ratchet straps like # 34414 to secure your mower to the carrier for travel.

The cargo carriers that you referenced (Pro Series # PS1040100 and Pro Series # PS10401-10402) are all excellent cargo carriers, however they are designed for 2 inch trailer hitch receivers. Since the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24897 features a 1-1/4 inch receiver, these will not be compatible without the use of an additional adapter like the Brophy # HTAD. This particular adapter will slide into the 1-1/4 inch receiver to provide a 2 inch receiver on the other end. The issue though is that when using this or any similar adapter, the tongue weight capacity on the hitch will be reduced by 50 percent. This means that the 200 pound tongue weight capacity on the Draw-Tite hitch will be reduced to 100 pounds when using the adapter. The three cargo carriers you mentioned weigh almost 100 pounds just by themselves. With this in mind, I still recommend going with the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18110. This will work perfectly with the 1-1/4 inch receiver and also weighs quite a bit less at just 30 pounds, giving you more capacity to work with when loading your push mower.
