Question:

I am attaching photos of my bike. Will the Swagman XTC2 Tilt work with my bike? I think it is considered a step through type. The middle bar is thicker than most. I just want to make sure the foam padded hooks will be enough to secure this bike without having to purchase an adapter bar to place between seat post and handle bars to make it a mens bike.

Your bike that has a thicker tube will fit on the Swagman XTC-2 TILT 2-Bike Rack # S64671.

The frame hooks of the XTC-2 will easily accommodate that size of tube, and will retract down far enough in order to grasp the frame. You will need to place your bike at the inside position - nearest your vehicle - in order to use it though, as this is the hook that will go down the furthest.

I do recommend adding locks for this rack to help protect your investment. To lock the rack to your hitch you will need the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029. To add a lock for the rack as well as cable lock the correct part is the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64031.
