Great spring for my 4 ft door on a small mc trlr! It arrived w a damaged roller n you quickly sent a replacement! I had a friend who installs garage doors to install it for me and it works perfectly! Thank you! The door was getting a little too heavy for me to safely lift.

I bought this to retrofit an enclosed trailer that was originally built with exterior springs.
This is a major improvement over the other style and money well spent. Everything went smoothly according to the instructions. I was good at 38.
My door is now a "one hand wonder".
Not happy at all. I had to use old part to make the installation complete. Extremely poor packaging caused the broken part.
The installation instructions wasn't very detailed. The front and back of the instruction sheet were for double springs and I had ordered single spring. Figured it out and it works great.
The Spring I purchased broke after 6 mo nths,

I am sorry to hear that this broke for you. Luckily this does have a 1 year limited warranty.
Took less than 4 hours to fit and install. I added a ramp to a double door cargo trailer was a strain to close until I added this spring now can close with ease. Perfect for my now motorcycle trailer

Exactly as described. I was concerned because processing of order took so long according to the order tracking but it did arrive on time as promised and installed fairly easily.
This product worked great! I just got installed last night on a ramp door that I built for a shed. No problem and everything functions well. No problem winding it just watch a couple videos first and be very very careful
It was what ordered, had all parts that was needed & arrive in a reasonable time.
The spring was great but the cables were too short.

The coil spring works great. I saw a ramp door online and copied it for my shed. I built the ramp door from the shed double opening doors and used most of the parts from etrailer.com The dual spring is used to assist opening and closing the ramp door. I calculated the weight and called etrailer.com and they helped me size the dual spring.
After destroying my single door spring I opted for this dual spring setup due to the door always being heavy to raise.
Wow what a difference! 3 turns on each spring and I can easily lift the cargo door with 1 hand (fingers).
