Today we're going to be talking a look at the Bulldog easy access rotating or swivel head trailer coupler lock. Part number on it is BD580409. The lock comes with two keys. Has a plastic housing around it to protect the lock as well as a sliding dust cover to prevent anything from getting into that tumbler and causing corrosion. Got a step pin, going to slide in. Locks very easily.
The lock also rotates 360 degrees to give us access to that tumbler at any angle. It's got a chrome-plated steel. It's going to help to resist corrosion. It couldn't be easier to use. Take it, indentions here in the end, easy to hold onto.
Slide it through and push it closed. That's going to prevent anyone from hooking up to your trailer and being able to secure it to their vehicle or also anybody removing it from your vehicle and talking it. They do offer a limited lifetime warranty on the lock so you can be sure that they're going to stand behind their product. That will complete today's look at the Bulldog easy access coupler lock with the swivel head, part number BD580409. .

Bull Dog brand so you can't go wrong - a step above just a pin - BD580410 might be better adjustment wise against my Bull Dog coupler. Also use a coupler lock like Master ML389DAT.
Fits good on my trailer. I should of brought a lock with the shaft a little smaller. ( that is my fault !) the lock is well designed and will keep your part crooks at bay. Your serious crooks will use a large bolt cutter and cut it. This is true with any lock. I do feel better having my trailer locked up now with this lock.
Exactly what I needed to secure my boat trailer on the hitch. My trailer has surge brakes and the wider hitch design made it too long for local available lock systems to engage. The Bulldog coupler lock looks to be of fine quality. I will still need to have some holes drilled in my trailer tongue in order to use it as intended, but it should secure everything nicely. I have had the Bulldog trailer coupler lock for a year. Still locks and unlocks smoothly. It hasn't rusted at all. Great product.

I have owned the Bulldog trailer coupler lock for over two years. It doesnt have one spot of rust on it. It still turns easily. Great product.

Purchased this lock to secure a new Dexter low-profile coupler - despite how the lock is shown on etrailer, I sense the Dexter coupler is what it was primarily designed to address. Fits perfectly in a very unique circumstance. I wish I had snapped an image... anyway, as is always the case, etrailer had my solution. Thank you.
Appears to be well built. The issue I have with the tongue lock is the lock mechanisim doesn't slide past the end of the pin. My last lock slid down the pin to make a tight fit and would be difficult to cut. This particular lock would be easy to take a bolt cutter to. As a pin to keep the latch in place it's OK but as a theft deterrent not so much. If theft deterring is your goal, I would look on past this item for something more effective.

Arrived quickly as ordered! Works great on my Demco 2-5/16" ball coupler.

Easy to put on and earned out well with the Jack-It bike Cartier we bought at the same time. Will need to have a plate made with cutouts to fill the gap but I did manage to make a short term fix using washers as additional vertical support.
Secures trailer at a reasonable price. Works as described and easy to operate.

Great
had a little trouble getting the fixed brake pad into position. No instructions were included and found out that the moving portion of the caliper had to be pushed sideways for the pad to fit into the correct groove. Other than that, things went as expected and you can't beat the service or the price.
The receiver lock fits perfectly and is EXACTLY what I needed. Once again etrailer exceeded my expectations!

After 1 season, the lock froze up and would not allow you to turn the key. After numerous attempts with lock luberencent, we ended up cutting the lock off.
Due to a recent rash of trailer thefts in my area I was looking for a way to lock my trailer latch, and this lock works great.
Ordered multiple parts everything fit together perfectly.

Bought this for my daughters luggage rack. I love how the key is on the front and not the side.
works like it should, i had to buy the longer version to have enough space to get the lock to work. I keep it on the trailer when parked for a little extra theft protection

Great! Other locks bent this one has not bent pulling over fairly steep mountains.
