Question:
Can I order the axle with the perches lose?

Expert Reply:
The Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles - 89" Long - 6,000 lbs # 8327830 comes with the spring seats (perches) welded in place and they cannot be ordered without them attached. However, you can add spring seats if you need them in a location other than the 74 inches on center. You would use the Spring Seat for Typical 5,200-lb to 7,200-lb, Round Trailer Axles with 3" Diameter # TRSS300 and you'd need to weld them in place and then prime and paint them for corrosion resistance. You will want to make sure they are centered correctly and aligned with each other.
