These chains use heavy-duty square links that dig deep into snow, ice, and even muddy ruts to keep you moving when traction disappears. The sharp edges of the 5.5 mm (0.218") links grab the surface instead of sliding, giving consistent grip on steep, slick, or uneven terrain. The ladder pattern keeps you driving forward smoothly with solid control on packed snow or icy hills.
Nothing is more frustrating than stopping to tighten chains after they loosen up. These come with assisted cams that let you twist and lock them snug around your tires without hassle. Just turn the cams with the included tool until the side chain pulls tight. They stay centered and secure even through tough driving, and you can add rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) for a perfect fit.

Each link is built from manganese nickel alloy steel with a zinc finish that resists corrosion and wear season after season. The tough alloy construction holds up to rock salt, slush, and road grime while keeping its strength for reliable traction every time you use them. The result is a set of chains that last 2–3 times longer than standard low-carbon steel.
These chains deliver dependable traction for deep snow and icy roads without being bulky to manage. Built for on-road use, they balance strength with a straightforward design that’s easy to handle when the weather turns bad. Whether you’re driving through a mountain pass or tackling a rural snow route, they help you stay in control and get where you’re going safely.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Hey everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna to be taking a look at the Titan Chains, snow tire chains. What we have right here is a ladder pattern style chain. What does that mean Well we just have these cross chains going across. So these are gonna be a little bit more rough than some of the other ones that make a diamond pattern. Just because with these we're gonna from chain to tire to chain to tire as we rotate around.
It's going to be a little bit rougher of a ride compared to some of the other ones. Definitely gonna give you more traction than some of the cable tire chains, just because those ones give you a whole lot traction but they are smoother. So its all up to you. I don't really mind the ride because I just don't wanna get stuck. So these are gonna be a bit more aggressive than your twist chains cause they're square links.
But they are gonna be less aggressive than some of the V bar style chains. So these are gonna have a manganese nickel alloy steel and these are gonna be coated so they're nice and strong. You can kind of see the cool little colors with it. So this is gonna last you plenty of time , comparing these to some of the other ladder pattern style chains, some of them don't have cam tensioners. I am a very big cam guy, really like them just because you can get the chain nice and tight on there even without the rubber tensioner.
But we are gonna have to use those which aren't included with the kit. We do have a fair amount of space between the chain and our wheels. There are some little areas where it might kind of over hang, but I don't really think it's gonna do a whole lot. Just be mindful of that whenever your setting it up. I don't really think it's gonna do much to our wheels if anything at all.
It does come in a pack of two, so it comes with little tiny canvas bag which it does fit in there. They fit in there well you don't really have to work real hard to get them back in. The cable tire chains are really difficult to get back in so this is definitely easier than that. But I am just not a big fan of the canvas bag, they do tend to rip, so the chains are going to out last the bag. If you wanted to get some that are a little bit easier to install and come with a carrying case, that's plastic. There are some Konig self tensioning snow tire chains or the premium snow tire chains. Those are the best just because we don't have to get down on the ground to make our connection, all the stuff is up here. But these are gonna get the job done, give us the extreme traction and you do just wanna make sure to check with your owners manual to figure out exactly which tires, which wheels you want to put them on. So, if they say the back, put them on the back, if they say you could put them on all four wheels, just go ahead and grab two of these and that's all you really need to do. And that'll do it, for a look at the Titan chains, snow tire chains..

Sounds great! Make sure to practice getting the chains on and off in your driveway or garage. Kneeling in a snowbank on the side of the highway isnt the time or place to familiarize yourself with the process! For more helpful info on tire chains, take a look at the help article Ive linked for you.
