Features to know about

Keep Working Through Deep Snow: Twist Links Grip and Go

When snow piles up and traction disappears, these twist link chains bite in so you can keep moving. The rounded twist links are built for deep snow and still give you some grip on ice, while the ladder pattern keeps steady forward traction. Each link is made of low-carbon steel for dependable strength and durability when the weather turns rough.

Smooth Ride on Winter Roads: Rounded Links Reduce Jolt and Vibration

You’ll notice that these chains ride smoother than standard square link chains. The rounded twist links roll more evenly over the surface, helping the tires grip without the harsh bounce that comes with chunkier links. That means more control and less shake as you climb icy grades or crawl out of snowy driveways.

No-Fuss Tightening in the Cold: Built-In Cams Handle the Tensioning

Fighting with loose chains in freezing weather isn’t fun. With these, you just insert the included tool into the cam and twist until the chain pulls tight around the tire. The cams make it quick to snug them down for a solid fit. For a little extra security, add rubber adjusters (sold separately) and you’ll be ready to roll.

Strong Enough for Heavy Use: Low-Carbon Steel Links Stand Up to Wear

Each 5.5 mm (0.218") thick link is made from tough low-carbon steel that holds up under load. Whether you’re driving through a fresh storm or working in snowy conditions day after day, the steel construction resists bending and breaking so you can count on solid traction season after season.

Ready for Real Winter Work: Fits 15"–19" Tires and Includes Two Chains

Each pair covers a range of tire sizes from 15 inches up to 19 inches and comes with two chains—one for each tire on the same axle. They’re built for deep snow and on-road use, giving you a straightforward, reliable setup when the roads demand extra grip.

Lay the Titan Chain tire chains flat on the ground to remove twists and kinks before installation.

Drape Titan Chain tire chains evenly over the vehicle tire during installation.

Connect and secure the Titan Chain tire chains behind the tire during installation.

Attach optional rubber tensioners to Titan Chain tire chains for a secure fit.

Confirming Your Fit

If you know your tire size, you may think you won't need to test fit your new chains. But there are a lot of variables that can affect whether chains will fit your specific tires, including your tire type, the amount of air pressure in the tire, the amount of tread wear, and the tire manufacturer.

We recommend that you order chains as early in the season as possible to give yourself plenty of time to test fit the chains and reorder if needed. This way, you won't be stuck out in the cold later with snow chains that don't fit.

You can test fit these chains in your garage or driveway, but you'll want to wait until there's snow on the ground to actually drive with them. Likewise, if you're out in the snow and come across bare pavement, you'll want to pull over and remove the chains. These chains can cause damage to the bare pavement, your garage floor, or your vehicle if they break from the wear of riding on a harsh surface.

I haven’t used chains in 25 years. The cam locks on these chains are amazing. Makes installation super easy and the chains tight. They don’t fall off. I have them on my 78 f250 that I use for plowing my property and there is NO spin. My truck is 4x4 but I put them on the rear. Everything works well, chains are fantastic, easy install and very competitive pricing. Definitely recommend if looking for a set of chains

Nice, quality chains. Cam tool included. Prompt shipping. We are no longer stranded in the cul-de-sac due to snow and ice.

Cam lock is a must. These are not your father's tire chains.
I ordered these from etrailer because I knew I would get the right fit for my vehical and a quality product. Their customer service is excellent.
Note: the fit of tire chains is everything. If it is to tight it will be nearly impossible to install. Too loose, you may throw a chain ripping out your brake lines, destroying your CV joints and other suspension parts. Plus having to find the chain some where back down the road if it is not wrapped around your suspension and then reinstall it on the road. So size is everything and please use chain tensions.

It would be nice to have a little heavier duty carry bag, but overall I am pleased with this purchase. Chains seem to be good quality.

Delivery was excellent; chains and tensioners arrived one day ahead of the promised date. They appear very well made, the price was competitive and shipping was free. erailer communicated very well all through the process, from ordering to notification of shipping to follow-up after receipt. I did a dry-run installation and it went exactly as the online video showed. Looking forward to trying them out in snow! I would recommend etrailer to anyone in need of snow chains.

I needed chains for my ProMaster 3500 van, as I travel the country and will go over the Colorado mountains to Oregon, and will need chains for this travel. I spoke to on line rep who gave me info on the chains I selected, they were delivered on time and in a caring bag for storage along with directions to install them. Great service

Needed these chains, just in case I was to encounter snow. Got them before the scheduled travel date but it was cancelled. Didn't have a chance to use them but glad they came early. Thanks.

  • Tire Chains for a Moving Truck with LT225/75-16 Tires
We have lots of chains that will fit on 225/75-16 tires. And you can use a set just on the outer most tires on dually wheels. For a basic set of chains the most popular option for this tire size is # TC2319. For a large truck I would recommend something more heavy-duty like the Titan Chain # TC2219CAM ladder style with twist links. I have linked a video showing an example installation of this type of chain for you.

  • Tire Chain Options For A 2025 Ram 3500 With 235/80R17 Tires
Hi Chris! I have three options for each tire size listed below. I have them sorted by Good, Better, and Best. The Good options are a pretty standard ladder pattern chain that will offer you good traction in a lot of situations. The Better options will be a diamond pattern chain that is ideal for on-road use, but with its design, there is always going to be chain on the ground. They aren't the best in off-road situations, but they are a very good option if you will be staying on highways...

The best tire chains for your 1988 Ford F-150 with 235/75R15 size tires are the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2519. • Will the Titan Snow Tire Chains # TC2219CAM Work on Pavement/Gravel for My 2004 Chevy Express Van?
Yes, the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains with Cams - Ladder Pattern # TC2219CAM will need to be put on just before the storm. Driving with the chains on bare gravel or pavement will greatly decrease the life of the chains as well as damage the surface of the road. In some municipalities, driving with chains on when there is no snow is considered illegal. After snowfall, the chains will be able to work on both pavement and gravel. Also, the Titan chains will fit your 2004 Chevy Express Van...
