When the roads glaze over with ice or the snow piles high, these Titan V-Bar chains dig in and keep you moving. Each cross chain has V-bar studs that bust through packed snow and ice, giving you the traction you need to climb steep driveways or make it down slick backroads. The ladder pattern grips solidly as you drive forward, so you can get to work or back home even in the roughest winter conditions.

In rough or bumpy terrain, loose cams can cause chains to slip. These chains do away with cams entirely, using simple manual connections that hold tight no matter how uneven the surface. Once you hook them together and pull them snug, they stay secure while you push through snow, mud, or ice.
These chains are made from nickel manganese alloy steel for strength and durability. The alloy resists rust and wear, so you get more use out of them season after season. The sturdy 5.3 mm (0.207") links stand up to hard winter driving and can take the punishment of frozen roads or boggy conditions without giving up.
Each set comes with a reusable storage case, so you can keep your chains dry, organized, and protected between trips. Dry them after each use, pack them up, and they’ll be ready for the next storm. That way, when the snow hits again, you can throw them on and head out without worry.
Whether you’re using them for a plow run, a rural drive, or as an emergency backup, these chains deliver dependable traction when conditions turn bad. With a fit for 14"–15" tires and the option to add rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) for a tighter hold, they give you steady performance and peace of mind all winter long.

These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain snow tire chains with the V bar links. These chains come in a number of sizes for a wide variety of applications. Our low carbon steel chains go across our tire horizontally. This provides excellent traction and also grip and braking. These are an SAE Class U chain, so you'll want to use them with vehicles that have no restriction around the wheel well area. They're meant for highway or off road use and it's recommended to use a rubber adjuster to help keep that tension. This one is part number TC0A3.
These Titan chains have a nice V bar pattern. What they've done is taken their standard twist links and they've added on a small angled piece of metal there, that really helps to grip that snow, give you superior traction in both snow and ice. We're here at the passenger side of the vehicle. We've got our chain all laid out. This is just to ensure that we don't have any kinks, any tangles, any twisted things that we're going to have to deal with. We're working tire size 27555R20 and again, these tire chains are made in a wide variety of sizes, so lots of different applications for them.
We'll want to just place the chain up and over our tire. It's important to keep the hook side facing outward. As you can see, we've got a nice smooth back here, and then more of a blunt surface here on the front. We don't want that to be rubbing up against the sidewall, so we'll keep that smooth edge facing in. We want to just work the chain kind of down in front of the tire here in the front. We're just going to roll it forward on it.
We want to make sure you got all the slack you can have right there. We now just want to roll our vehicle forward and we just kind of work our chain over the top of the tire here, kind of get it centered up. Any slack that you might have here in the front, you want to pull towards the back. That's where we're going to be connecting it. All right, come around here to the rear and hook our tag end up there on the larger hook. We'll pull our slack around to the front side here and get it connected as well.
It's important to note which link you use in the rear. We used our second there and we've got a plus or minus one variable, so we can use the third, the second or the first here. It looks like we may be able to get it into the second one there. You want to get it of course, as tight as you can but you also want to be able to function it and operate it, to make it safe. In my case, we just can't get it to go to that second one, so we'll use our first one, connect that in. You bring that catch right down over top of it there, that's going to hold it in place and keep it from backing out. Then we'll bring in our rubber tensioner. You just connect it in to five points around the outside of the tire here. You want to get it as equal as you can, spacing wise, but you certainly don't have to count links or do anything like that. The hooks on this should be facing outward as well, just like on the tire chain itself. You don't want that to be rubbing into your tire, causing any trouble. Just drive a few car lengths forward, make sure we don't have any slack that we need to work out of there, and re-tighten. That will complete today's look at the Titan Chain heavy duty alloy snow tire chains with square links, designed for tires sizes from 15 inches all the way up to 22 inches and offers a thirty mile an hour maximum speed rating. That will complete today's look at the Titan Chain snow tire chains, with the V bar link. .

Chains are still going strong, I make sure the wash and dry them after each season. Would definitely buy again and I definitely recommend the metal spring tensioners.

I should have bought these 20 years ago. I haven’t had to mount chains on the front yet! Saved me 5x the price not plowing the road

No to good for application. Chains came apart after a couple of uses. Chains would be more suitable for short distance usage not for plowing .
