Tired of loose straps and shifting loads? Secure your vehicle by the wheels with this heavy-duty wheel lasso. It's adjustable fit and strong hold keep everything locked down, so you can haul with confidence - no worries or second-guessing.
Struggling with frame-mounted tie-downs that loosen mid-haul? The wheel lasso method is the smarter, more secure way to strap down your vehicle. By anchoring through the wheels, this tie-down lets the suspension move naturally while keeping everything firmly in place. No more mid-trip adjustments - just strap it, haul it, and focus on the road ahead.
From off-road buggies and Jeeps to heavily modified trucks, every setup is different. Thats why this wheel lasso tie-down is built for versatility - its adjustable loop fits nearly any tire size, so you get a custom-like fit every time. Whether youre hauling across town or across the country, your vehicle stays secure, stable, and ready to roll.
When your vehicle bounces, standard frame-mounted straps can slacken, leading to shifting, re-tightening stops, and unnecessary stress. The wheel lasso method eliminates that problem, keeping your vehicle grounded and stable while its suspension absorbs the bumps. Less stress on your tie-downs - and more confidence on your haul.
Built with rugged 2-inch webbing and rated at 10,000 lbs MRC, this tie-down is made for serious haulers. Whether youre towing through rough terrain or locking down a lifted truck, this strap is designed to handle the weight and the challenge - just like you.

Hey, neighbors, how's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at the SpeedStrap lasso-style heavy-duty tie-down on our Polaris side by side here. So, now, these guys are made for strapping down those UTV vehicles when you're heading out for your adventure. So let's take a closer look and see what it does for us. Now, this strap is heavy duty. It's rated all the way up to 10,000 pounds. You're gonna loop your lasso through your D-ring here and you're gonna go all the way back to your anchor point using this nice wide ratchet.
Now, this guy right here gives you a good handle. It makes it super easy to disengage and engage. If you have gloves on or, you know, it's gonna give you a lot of good grip for it. And as far as our hook here, this guy right here is the snap hook. The snap hook is spring loaded, so once you throw it on your D-ring, it's gonna stay right where it should be.
This guy right here does feel ultra nice in my hand. That's one of my ratings as far as the materials. Being UV covered, as well as spray resistant, this isn't gonna be like something you find at the hardware store. This is heavy-duty gear for those heavy-duty outdoor experiences. When it comes to securing your UTVs, there's two schools of thought.
Some people like to use something like this guy right here where they're securing it by the frame itself and then there's other people that prefer to secure it by the wheel. If you have a preference, it'd be nice for you to leave that in the comments below. But, generally, if you're gonna secure it by your wheels, it allows your suspension to move the way it was designed, so it causes less strain on your vehicle. So my preference is actually going lasso style with the wheels. So we're gonna take our strap here and feed it through our wheel.
Wanna make sure you're clearing brake lines or anything that's behind it. And then we're gonna take it right through our D-ring. Now, we're gonna try to keep this guy straight as possible 'cause twists can cause some issues as far as bunching, making it harder to roll up and deploy. So let's get this guy straightened out. All right. And now we're gonna head over to our ratchet. Now I'm gonna take this hook and I'm just gonna go right in and hook it onto my D-ring here. And now, making sure that I have my strap still straight, we're gonna feed it through our ratchet. And it's pretty standard as far as how this guy works opposed to any other ratchet strap I've seen. I just like the function of it. It feels real smooth and this wide handle really makes a difference for me. I don't feel like I'm gonna pinch my hands like I do with those smaller ones where, you know, if you can't really get your hand in that space. And now we're just gonna get some tension on it. And you can see, super tight. Now, this is just a single strap and you would wanna secure your vehicle on both sides. The way I would hook this guy up, I would go with the one on this side and then the opposite on the other side and that'll keep it nice and stable for your adventure. So, again, this is Ed with etrailer.com taking a look at the SpeedStrap heavy-duty lasso-style tie-down. Have a great day.
