Installation
1. Spread the chain around the back of the tire.
2. Connect the yellow and blue cable at the back of the tire.
3. Push the cable into place behind the tire and center the cross chains on the tire's tread. Then, on the front side of the tire, join the 2 ends of the yellow side chain using the green hook.
4. Feed the silver draw chain with the rubber tensioner through the red channel at the bottom and pull it tight. Then run the tensioner through the red rings. (Note: Depending on your tire size, you might not be able to thread through both rings.) Pull the tensioner across the tire and fasten it to the yellow chain on the opposite side.
5. Pull your vehicle forward and retighten the chain.

Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at Titan Chains Alloy Snow Tire Chains. One thing I do like about these tire chains compared to your ladder chains, we don't have any connection to make around back. A lot of the times underneath, we have the climb on the ground, go around back, and then connect it. This way it's just up top here so we don't have to get down in the snow. Because if you're putting snow tire chains on your tires, there's probably going to be snow on the ground.
You don't want to be rolling around in that.We do have some square links that are going to be made of manganese nickel alloy steel, so it's going to help resist rust and corrosion and just keep it from wearing down really quickly. It is SAE S Class certified, so it is going to give you a smooth ride and fit pretty well in your wheel well. It does have a diamond pattern, which is going to give you really good traction for stopping and acceleration. One thing I really do like about these tire chains is it does have a built in tensioner, which a lot of the times you're supposed to get these rubber tensioners that aren't attached to your chains, and I know I would probably lose them. Definitely it being completely attached to the chains is going to be a plus for me, just so you don't lose them. Also, this does have a speed rating of 30 miles an hour so we do suggest not going over that speed. It also comes with a pretty nice carrying case.
It's going to last a little bit longer than those canvas bags, those usually rip over time. This one, it's made of sturdier construction and has a zipper. You're going to keep your chains neat and organized in this case and you're not going to lose them. If you have an all wheel drive or four wheel drive application, all you really have to do is buy two sets. It does come in a pair of two and it's going to be the same exact installation process on both sides.
Let's just go ahead and get to it.The first thing we're going to want to do is lay out our chains and make sure there's no kinks in our links. If that's all looking good we can go ahead and fish this behind our tire. Once we have them back there we can put our hands in our wheel wells, grab both ends, and connect them. While we're back here, we're going to grab these chains and drape them over. We do want to make sure that this straight line here is going to be in the middle of our tire tread.
Once we have that set we can go ahead and take our green hook here to try to get it clipped on this yellow excess of chain.Once we get that and everything's nice and even, one thing I do want to note, you guys can see back in here, there's two different ends. We have the open section with these two pieces of metal. We want that facing away from our tire because we want to have that smooth part up against our rubber just so we don't damage our tires when in use.If all that checks out, you get this green hook connected, and then we can take our tensioning device which is actually built in, which is definitely a plus for me because I misplace stuff all the time, we're going to place it like so and give it a good tug and make sure it's nice and tight. Once we get that, we're going to go ahead and put them through these red loops. Once we do that, we'll come over here and connect them to the yellow part of our chain.Once we have all that set up, we want to make sure and see if it's tight, and if it is, we do recommend rolling over it a couple more times and then coming back out and make sure that tension stays as it is. If it is, we're ready to hit the road.Well everyone, thanks for tuning in and taking a look at our Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains.

After reviewing tech info and reviews I purchased Titan Alloy Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link part TC2533 for the 2018 Ram 2500. These are regular duty and a good fit. These chains offer a lot more clearance for the P-Brake cable. They are a cleaver design, have great carrying case and are fairly quick to install. I have not purchased winter tires for this vehicle so the Ram need chains to pull a travel trailer up and down our snow-covered road.

Just completed fit-check of these chains on my two vehicles (2016 Toyota Tundra, P255/70R18, Michelin LTX MS2; 2010 Toyota Sequoia, P275/55R20 111S M+S, Bridgestone Dueler H/L) and all is good! Hardest part of installation was untangling the chains to lay out on the ground (that always is, for me!). Practice makes it easier. Thank you etrailer! Rolling a few revolutions and re-tightening chains IS important. Don't leave that step out. I'm going to add rubber tensioners (old-school, I know) just to be sure. Pics are of the 2010 Sequoia and 2016 Tundra.

Wow!! Installed in minutes and fit snug no chain flopping in fender well like other chains. These are half the weight than my other chains and Titans came with nice carry case as well. Thank you to Christina J for all your help and getting these to me just in time to hit the snow [thumbs up]

These chains are by far the easiest chains I have ever put on or taken off a truck 10 minutes to put on and five minutes to take off. I am in a wheelchair so getting on the ground is not the easiest thing to do so with these chains taking so little time to put on it is a blessing. No Jack and no running them over to put them on. You may have to drive over them to take them off. Used one set last winter to plow a 6 1/2 mike gravel road and did awesome so I bought a set for the front.

Excellent quality, the video instructions helped me fit them in about 10 minutes per axle. Next time will be faster. The storage case is very good. Looking forward to driving in the snow. I drove around for 1/2 mile with no rubbing on a 2020 Sierra 2500HD with LT275/65R20 Goodyears.

Great product for our 2007 Honda Fit Sport. They fit perfectly. Instructions are very clear and with a little practice we were both able to get these on in 5-10 minutes. We have a cabin in Northern MN with a killer hill that is hard to navigate in winter. With the chains we were able to zip right up without any problems.

As a single Mom I looked a while for chains I felt comfortable installing on my own with my teenage daughter on the hill snowing. I loved all the reviews and installation videos. etrailer.com made it so easy to find what I was looking for and the confidence to purchase. I put these on my car in the driveway today just following the instruction guide that came with my chains and my memory of the video when I purchased....amazing! Easy. Thank you so much! I also love the high quality bag the chains come in to take care of them for years to come. Great price as well. Excellent purchase! Here's hoping next year will be better than all the rain we've had this year and couldn't use! We want to ski! Let us out COVID-19!!!!!

"etrailer" is fast (no surpirse), we use them a lot. These chains ROCK. They go on SO EASY. The grip is KILLER, not just forward thrust, but the back end stays planted in corners (diamond pattern is why). My '96 F-250 throws serious snow and ice roost with these on. They come off just as easy: Unhook, swing the cable out of the way from behind the back of the tire, back up 3", fling them in the case. If you are really tired of floppy ladder chains and latches, trimming links and cable type chains (that just don't work)? GET THESE CHAINS. I've tested them in axle deep snow, thick ice, they didn't break, the truck flat hooks up and goes. These WORK- PERIOD!

The stiff inner cable and a rubber tensioner makes instalation easy when I practiced putting them on. The carrying case is nice to keep everything ready until use. The chains are made for a few tire sizes, so I only used one of two tensioning loops attached to the chains. Etrailer's shipping was lightning fast and arrived before promised arrival date. Very happy with the transaction and chains. Hope I dont have to use them but glad to have them.

Company review (have not tried the snow chains yet) I have booked a vacation in the White Mountains of NH and I was concerned about getting my van to the house I rented at the top of a mountain. I took a drive up with my 3500 HD pickup and it wasn’t a simple ascent. My kids use a van for skiing due to needing a changing room for skiing with Covid rules. Even with studded snow tires I felt we should have chains just in case. With 2 days prior to leaving I paid for 2 days shipping. They went from MO to NH in less than 16 hrs from the time I placed the order! Very thankful to have these so quickly and hopefully we won’t need them! No Covid disclaimers, no BS, just super quick shipping and delivery!!

Chains fit my Blizzak 265/70 R17 tires perfectly. I'll be honest, I was expecting thicker links (similar to old school snow chains) but since my vehicle requires Class S chains I guess the links need to be a smaller gauge. No worries, I did a test install in the garage and they went on fine. Also took a test drive on snow covered gravel road and they worked as advertised. No regrets on my purchase, in fact I might get an additional set for my front tires as well at some point. Shipping was extremely fast. Hopefully I'll never need them, but if I do it's good to know I've got them in the vehicle.

I was researching many websites for tire chains for a 2018 Ford F 150 4x4. The manual does not recommend tire chains, due to clearance of rear shock and wheel well with stock tires. After hours of research, I found a review on this site with the same issue and a response from an etrailer customer representative that addressed this issue and provided some options. I was impressed by the options and specific information that the representative addressed regarding the clearance issue. I watched the videos and immediately purchased a set. I received the Tire Chains in less than 48 hours, talk about fast shipping.

Im am very very satisfied with purchasing these chains from etrailer. First their web page was easy to navigate. Second the price was great. Then they were delivered as promised and quick. Once they arrived the quality is great and they came in a very nice carry case. Then I actually put them on in less then 5 minutes each and they went on without moving the truck like it says. so easy I couldn't believe it. I drove several times up and down my driveway without any problems with traction, and it was very slippery without them. I don't plan to use them all the time I plan to use them when I plow my driveway next year but just wanted to get prepared for next year. I put them over all season tires so I saved from getting snow tires for plowing. Great Job Team etrailer !!!

These days we mostly rely on Amazon for online shopping - however, I am thrilled to have decided to purchase directly through etrailer for the following reasons: 1) Confidence - There's shwarmy re-selling on Amazon, where I felt confident I was going to get what I asked for from etrailer (and I did!). 2) Speed - Again, not quite 2 days guaranteed (which those of us with Prime have become accustomed to), but my two sets of chains only took maybe an extra day. 3) Process - etrailer provided easy-to-follow email updates on the order, shipping, delivery, and follow-up. Given how heavy-duty these chains are, and my infrequency of use, I suspect I'll be good for a long time. But when the time comes, I'll gladly purchase directly through etrailer again. Ps. DEFINITELY practice getting these on once before you need them. It just takes one attempt to recognize how easy they are to equip/take off, but never hurts.

This is based on a driveway install. Pretty easy but slightly more complicated than standard cable chains. The box they come in is much larger (hence the once point off) No real complaints but on my pacifica 2020 with 18" wheels I can't use the second loop or even get the rubber hook across the wheel to the other side. They seem secure and I'll update if I ever get in a condition to use them, these are more like keeping bandaids in the car, you might never need them but if you do there they are. No complaints about the shipping and etrailer has been great to deal with (been buying from them for awhile).

I was going into the middle of nowhere on a late season hunt and needed chains for mountain passes and deep snow on and off road. I placed the order late in the evening only to wake up early the next morning to find that it has shipped. The company had already provided the tracking number, and who had worked on my order. It was delivered very quickly, so quickly that it came to the address I was going to before I even got there. The packaging was amazing and the communication was great. There were instructions in the nearly packaged case the chains were in and I had no problem figuring out how to connect and install them. It took me about 5 minutes to put 1 chain on to make sure it fit. The chains seem right and appropriate for my vehicle. They seem sturdy and will hopefully get me out of any unexpected jam I may find myself in. This company is great and the product was appropriate and at a great price. What more can you ask for?

In February 2020, I was at Stowe VT skiing and during the day got 18” snow at the mountain. All the cars were snowed in the parking lot. I put the chains on the front wheels of my Subaru Forester and was able to easily drive out of the lot! Easy to install and always keep in my subi during my ski adventures!

I woke to an unusual 7- 12 in's. of wet heavy snow... Power out all over and needed to help friends get winter storm supplies, cooking stove propane, water, ice for coolers etc... After going over the Sierra's about a year previously with my son in a different vehicle and having to chain up, I got to see how relatively easy they went on and how they got us over the mountain. I live in the valley so this kind of purchase was something I thought would only come in handy in mountain travel something I usually wouldn't do. I decided to purchase a set of Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains and adjusters just to be prepared as you never know what’s coming... I'm glad I made the purchase! Maneuvering around in the approx. 8 inches was simple and when I needed to go through deeper piles they got me there without a problem. Grown up in a snow country and having put on traditional chains these were so less complicated to install. Driving below or no more than the recommended speed made drive in a difficult situation easier.

I installed the chains today 1/17/20 and they seemed to fit . Easy to install I hope I don't have to use them but if I do they will work. Etrailer customer service very nice to work with.

These are the first chains I have bought for a car. Bought them in preparation for a trip to Canada this winter and to have just in case this winter around Kansas City. I was worried about how difficult chains would be to install on a Dodge Dart but these were super easy to install, 5 min per tire my first time putting them on. They fit tightly and I can’t wait to try them out in the snow. Customer service was also great with my order. They were delivered several days before they were suposed to and sent me a personal email letting me know they were shipped out early. This was a great touch considering most online orders involve no personal contact from the business. I Will definitely purchase from etrailer again because of the service.

I really like the ease of installation of this style of chain. The diamond pattern is a smoother ride. They have good grip on thick ice. The manufacturer even included repair links and gloves to use if i wanted to dye my hair. I received my order faster than expected and really liked etrailers detailed order tracking.

Pretty simple installation which is why I chose these chains. Had them both on in under 20 minutes...with the help of my dogs of course! Nice having the chain tightener already attached. They come in a nice case and go back into it very easy. Hoping to get to use these this season. That will be the true test.

I used this product the day after they arrive promptly from etrailer. These chains were easy to install, even when my 2017 Promaster 1500 was already stuck in the mud with a 3/4 ton load in the cargo bay. Following the installation, I was able to gain traction immediately and continue down the saturated, unpaved road grade to the job site without further incident. I've driven only 4WD trucks for years to avoid such incidents and was happy to gain some off- road confidence in a 2WD van with the help of these chains. Looking forward to trying them out in the snow.
