Video Transcript for Review of Caliber Snowmobile Trailer Parts - Traction Surface - CA26TJ

Hello, neighbor. Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're taking a look together at our Caliber MultiGlides for your snowmobile trailers. Now, folks, these are gonna give you four, quantity four. I've gone ahead and stack the last three here so I can showcase individually for you as best as possible, hopefully. So I wanna start off by taking one of these, and let you know they are 60 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide, and about 3/4 of an inch thick.

I'm gonna go ahead and put that up close to the camera so you can get a better view of those ridges in there. So starting off, it's gonna float your carbides on your snowmobile. That way they never touch or damage your trailer deck. Now they do accommodate dual runner skis, and with that design there, those slits and everything all the way down there, it's gonna help wick away the melted snow so it doesn't cause your deck to rot by sitting on your deck and everything in the trailer. Now it does include hardware for a simple installation.

I went ahead and left that in the bag just for space constraints. So you get all these plastic adapters for spacer blocks and then these star-headed screws here that are included. And as you can see on the glides themselves, they have slots that are elongated. That way you can get them exactly in place wherever you need 'em. In the back of 'em, obviously it's the same thing, just kind of reversed.

So you've got the ridges up here and everything. Again, that's gonna wick away that melted snow. They are a nice heavy-duty plastic material, so you don't have to worry about them breaking over time or anything. And again, it's gonna float the carbides, which I think is a nice feature that's gonna help you get up and inside really quickly and safely for your trailer, yourself, and for all your gear and stuff. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up.

Again, you're gonna get quantity four, four of these tracks here. This is the Caliber MultiGlides. I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

  • Can The Caliber Multi-Glides Be Cut Down To Size?
Hey there Hank, thanks for reaching out. The Caliber Multi-Glides # CA26TJ can indeed be cut down to size if needed. According to Caliber you can use any type of saw, but I would use a nice sharp hack saw and just cut them by hand.

  • Parts Needed for Garage Storage Of A Polaris 600Indy XC 129
Hey Christopher, You could mount some Caliber MultiGlides Snowmobile Trailers # CA26TJ to the floor of your garage but you'd need to drill some holes in the concrete and use some anchors so the screws have something to mount to. Personally, I would just pick up the Caliber Snowmobile Dolly Kit # CA36AJ, which you can load the snowmobile onto and then easily roll around your garage to make room. This dolly kit has an 800lb capacity, which is well over what your Polaris weighs. The center...

Hi Sam; the screws that come with the Caliber LowPro Glides # CA26TJ are designed to be used with wood. However, you can use them on steel and aluminum if you drill a pilot hole first with an 11/64" drill bit.
