When you’re towing for long stretches, heat and weight can take a toll on lesser tires. This 4.80R12 radial tire is Load Range C with a 6-ply rating and a 990-lb max load at 90 psi. The M speed rating (81 mph) and double steel-belted, double polyester construction keep it running cool and steady mile after mile. It’s DOT compliant and exceeds FMVSS standards, so it’s built for real highway use.

Salt spray, rain, and road grime don’t stand a chance against the silver acrylic enamel finish on this 12" x 4" modular steel wheel. The finish is applied over a zinc phosphate pre-treatment and e-coat primer, resisting chips and scrapes better than powder coat. It’s been salt-spray tested beyond 1,000 hours for serious corrosion resistance that keeps the wheel looking sharp through seasons of use.
Loose lug nuts can ruin a trip fast. The wheel’s beveled stud holes are left uncoated to improve clamp force retention, helping it stay tight against the hub without repeated retorquing. The raised center disc design adds strength where it counts, giving you confidence every time you tow.

Every tire-and-wheel assembly comes backed by a 2-year Platinum Plus warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance. If you get a flat, a technician will come out to change it with your inflated spare — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s extra peace of mind built right in to keep your trip moving smoothly.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

The 2 Provider Tires on Vespar rims are in excellent condition, mounted good and look in excellent condition.
They both arrived on time without damage, and customer service people were taking care of me by being upfront honest and respectfull.
Good job everyone at etrailer!
Good looking. Should perform well
The tires I ordered were on back order but it was communicated to me in a timely matter. In the end I got the tires I needed for a very fair price and will continue to order my trailer needs from etrailer.com
It's still the spare.
Fast friendly service!
Not only have the products I've purchased from etrailer been excellent, delivered quickly, but the customer service is outstanding. When I've had questions, or made the wrong purchase on one occasion, etrailer has worked with me.
Great quality, and was delivered very p romptly.
Great service made the process easy!
Etrailer.com delivered radial trailer tires FAST.
Delivered to my door, accurate description, fully inflated, ready to put on trailer.
Great shopping experience. Thanks etrailer, and thanks Joshua B for the follow-up.
When the tires arrived, the hubs had a few stretches on them which I assume it from mounting the tires. I installed them and drove around the block. Even though it was a short drive, they seemed to be a much better upgrade than the bias ply tires I had on the trailer.
I also should add that I bought these because of the highway rating as I will be hauling my motorcycle to NY this summer.
Excellent looking wheels and tires! The wheels are flawless - no scratches or chips.
I put these on a small utility trailer that I expanded for hauling my kayak and jon boat. The gross weight is very light so I reduced my tire pressure to about 75psi and took the trailer for its maiden test drive this past weekend. Handles great in town. It did 75-80mph on the highway no problem.
Many thanks to Sarah S for her assistance with my order. I could not be happier right now.
Side note, I also installed the Counteract Balancing beads (CA68VR).

I purchased these tires for the higher speed rating 81 compared to the tires I replaced that were only rated to 65. Which is below typical interstate speeds. I year later the tires and rims are fine.
