Question:
I am trying to replace wheels/tires on harbor freight trailer 1195lb model. The tire says its 4.80/4.00-12 on it. So i guess i need a 4.80 tire in a 12 inch and 12 inch rim with 4 lugs which i checked and the center to center measurement on the lugs is 2 13/16 inch apart. Also measured the pilot diameter on the hbft wheels which is 2.69. I have 2 products that caught my eye and they are both wheel/tire combined. 1: Part Number: TA99QR this should be the closest in fitment 2.Part Number: AM35351DX this one i understand that width and diameter is 0.8 inch more Do you think these are a good fit or see any issues with fitment?

These are two solid options Alan but they’re actually built slightly different.
The Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 12" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel # TA99QR is the exact fitment and size match of your current wheel/tire combo, not just specs.
The Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Tire w/ 12" White Spoke Wheel # AM35351DX is a larger ST145/R12 radial tire at 21.3' D x 5.7' W and has a higher weight capacity of 1,220 lbs.
The Taskmaser # TA99QR is the replacement I suggest so no risk of rubbing fenders or frame. If you are wanting to have a higher load capacity, I'd suggest measuring clearance before purchasing # AM35351DX.
Are you usually taking your trailer on short trips or longer highway drives?
