For long highway runs and everyday towing, this radial tire and wheel assembly is built for confidence. The 5.30R12 tire carries a 1,050-lb max load at 80 psi and uses a 6-ply construction with double steel belts and double polyester cords. It’s speed rated M (81 mph) and meets DOT specifications, so it’s ready for extended travel without heat buildup or tread separation.

Rust and road grime are no match for the 12" Vesper white spoke wheel’s multi-layer protection. After a zinc phosphate pre-treatment and e-coat primer, an acrylic enamel finish is baked on to resist chips and scrapes longer than standard powder coats. This surface proved itself in salt spray testing for more than 1,000 hours—ideal when you want to keep your setup looking sharp through years of use.
Constant retightening is a thing of the past thanks to the wheel’s beveled, uncoated stud holes and raised automotive-rated center disc. That design keeps clamp force consistent against the hub so the wheel stays tight even over rough miles. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference in reliability over time.

Inside the tire, double steel belts, double polyester cords, and a nylon tread-firming belt overlay come together for durability and endurance. The radial design keeps rolling resistance low and heat generation down, helping extend tread life while maintaining stable tracking at highway speeds.
This assembly includes a 2-year Platinum Plus warranty that provides complimentary roadside assistance for flat tire changes using your inflated spare. Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—added assurance that your journey won’t be cut short by an unexpected flat.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Taskmaster 530 R 12 radial trailer tire in a load range C and it's mounted on this 12 inch Vesper white spoke steel trailer wheel with the four on four inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly is ideal for stock trailers, utility trailers, and even campers. The wheel we mentioned it is a steel wheel, has the spoke design and it's sturdy and corrosion resistant. If you notice, it's a white acrylic enamel finish, which will resist chipping and other damage better than your powder coat finishes. Basically this finish is applied after a zinc phosphate pretreatment and it covers an eco primer layer.
This will give you excellent corrosion resistance, has a salt spray rating of more than a thousand hours. The dimension on the wheel itself, the diameter, which is measured inside, inside is 12 inches. The width, four inches wide. The bolt pattern we mentioned on this wheel is a four on four inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that has an even number of lugs, like in this case four, it's pretty easy 'cause the lug holes go directly across from each other.
So just pick any hole, let's say this one, and you'll measure from the center of this hole to the center of the hole right across from it. So on this one it'll measure four inches. So it's a four lug, four inch bolt pattern. It does use a wheel lug size of half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on just the wheel is 1,520 pounds. Now if you notice, this does not come with a center cap.
If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately. But when you do purchase the center cap, you do wanna make sure to get one that has the same diameter as this pilot hole, 'cause when you install your center cap, it'll go through this hole. Diameter on this pilot hole here is 2.84 inches. This is a ST tire, which stands for a special trailer tire, has the sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailer that's not intended for use on other vehicles.
The tire is a radial tire, so it is constructed with double steel belts. Double polyester cords for a nice long life. Tire is bake tested to ensure that the rubber holds up overtime. And they do use a nylon tread firming belt overlay to help prevent tread separation. Now the tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall 5.30 R 12, the R means it's a radial. The section width 5.4 inches. The overall diameter from the bottom to the top, when it's inflated, it's 21.6 inches. This tire is a load range C, which means it's a six ply rated tire. Has a maximum load capacity of 1050 pounds at 80 PSI. Now this assembly does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specification and it does exceed the federal motor vehicle safety standards. This tire does also have a speed rating on it, and that speed rating is stamped on the sidewall. It's pretty small. What you'll need to do is go down right where they show the load range C and you'll see very small at top it'll say 81 miles per hour. So this has a speed rating of 81. This also comes with a two year platinum plus warranty, which will include emergency tire change service and other benefits. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Taskmaster 530 R 12 radial trailer tire in a load range C on this 12 inch Vesper white spoke steel trailer wheel.

They were exactly what we ordered and what we needed.
Looks great! Since it's my spare, hopefully I'll never use it.
Easy to buy the right tire and rim. Unbelievable fast shipping. Thanks for the great service.
Etrailer has been my supplier for hitches, snow chains and now wheels with pre-mounted tires. Excellent service never a problem.
The trailer tire and wheel combination look great and fit perfectly. Packaging was great, fast shipping and the company is easy to deal with, very helpful as well.
Great service, arrived early and in great shape. Super happy!
I think Amy & company are top notch! Great communication, fast delivery, fits & looks great! I will take the pop up out on her maiden voyage & keep you posted! Thanks a bunch!
I bought an older Jayco camper with the original wheels and tires probably about 15 years old. Ended up buying these wheel/tire combos for both sides and the spare. They look great and are radials so should not have to worry about them for a long time.
I would have given 5 stars; however, the manufacture date on these tires is mid 2023.
After approximately 25 hours of highway and gravel roads these radial tires definitely ride and track better than bias ply tires.
etrailer's team came through in the clutch. Original tires were on back order and I was leaving for Canada in just a few days. So I contacted them and opted for a slightly larger version of the same tire. They got them out the same day and arrived in time for my much anticipated fishing trip. Thanks again.
