If your tires are rubbing or you need more room under the trailer, this hanger kit is built to help. The front and rear hangers stand 3-1/4" tall, and the center hangers are 3-5/8" tall, giving your suspension a little extra height where it counts. That added clearance helps protect plumbing and underbody parts when you’re on uneven ground or backing up steep driveways.
A solid suspension setup keeps both axles moving in sync. The 5-3/4" long curved equalizers in this kit balance the load between axles so bumps are absorbed evenly. The result is a steadier ride with less bounce and sway when towing over rough surfaces.
This kit brings everything you need to hang your leaf springs and equalizers. It includes (4) 3-1/4" tall front and rear hangers, (2) 3-5/8" tall center hangers, (2) 5-3/4" long equalizers, (8) 2-1/4" long shackle straps, (14) 3" x 9/16" shackle bolts, and (14) 9/16" locknuts. It’s designed for use with tandem 2,000-lb to 7,000-lb axles, so you can build or refresh the suspension with properly matched parts.
Getting hangers set in the right place makes all the difference in how the trailer tracks and rides. This kit is designed to set your hanger spacing for double-eye leaf springs so the suspension cycles smoothly. Depending on your axle size, you’ll get about 4-1/2" to 5" of clearance between the frame and axle for reliable performance mile after mile.

After a year of usage the horse trailer is still doing its job - no issues with the bolts or the equalizers. Everything has held up well.
