If your trailer ever gets wet, this light won’t let water ruin your wiring. The lens and housing are sonically sealed into one solid, waterproof unit that’s fully submersible. Even when it’s dunked at the boat ramp or hit by road spray, the internal components stay protected so the LED keeps shining reliably.
At just 2-1/2" long by 1-1/4" wide and about 1" thick, it’s a small but tough light that fits where space is limited. It can surface mount with an open-back or self-grounding bracket, or flush mount with a grommet for a clean look. It accepts standard 1-prong and 2-prong plugs for simple hookup to existing wiring setups.
Safety lighting is all about being seen from the right angles. This P2-rated light puts out a 90-degree beam spread—45 degrees to each side—so others can see your trailer clearly straight on. That rating means it can serve as either a clearance or side marker light depending on how you mount it, keeping your trailer visible and compliant on the road.

It is sonically sealed, so it's completely waterproof. It features the two prong connector on the back, which accepts a standard two prong plug. That item is sold separately and available at etrailer.com.This unit contains one LED or one diode. LEDs are great replacements for incandescent lights.
They last longer, they burn brighter, and they're much more efficient. You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. This unit features a nice, polycarbonate lens. It's very strong and durable. It is SAE, and Department of Transportation, compliant.Now, this light is designed to be mounted, using a bracket, or a grommet.
Those items are sold separately and available at etrailer.com. I do have a couple of them here today, just to show you what it would look like. So you if you choose a grommet installation, this light basically fits into the grommet. It presses into place and it gives the light a really nice look.When using that option, it still requires a two prong plug. When using a bracket, like this, you'll see that it has a connection point, right here.
That's metal and it goes over to one of the mount hole locations, so this unit actually grounds through the mounting hardware. So if you're using an option like this, the light just snaps into the bracket. So it would fit in there, and then on the reverse side, it would only require a one prong plug, for your connection, for power.When it comes to the measurements of the unit, length measurement is around two and a half inches by an inch and a quarter. The overall depth is about one in deep. We're going to go and hook it up to power.
That way you could see what it looks like with some power running to it. Then, we'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights, so you can see it in a lower light setting.So you can see here, it sends out a very bright, consistent signal. These lights did not fit our bar we would like to return these and get an LED bar instead of the separate lights is this able to be done.

It's a nice grommet all right.
But it does not fit the opening on a 2022 Ranger Trail trailer.
The OEM grommet is shaped more like a wedge and the grooves for the trailer cutout to fit is not right.
I just can't get that grommet to fit into it.
