Does Lippert 6500 Landing Gear Motor Work with etrailer Landing Gear RVLG-8000

2004 national rv ragen as the 3 rd owner im not sure what the original equipment was but looking to replace the landing gear that is on my rv. This looks like the equipment currently install with a 5000 lb motor. Can you tell me if the RVLG-8000 is compatible with the lippert heavy duty 6500 motor? Can the stop tab be removed and moved to the opposite sides of the leg without damaging the strength of the leg?

Hey Jamie, yes the Lippert HD 6500 motor part # LC196308 is compatible with the landing gear set part # RVLG-8000. If you wanted to move the brackets on the jack lets you'd be better off just having a fabricator come up with a way to weld new ones on the jack leg without trying to remove the current ones first.
