Dual Electric Jacks for 24,000 lb Gooseneck Trailer

Updated 03/05/2026 | Published 03/01/2026

Question:

I have a 3 axle 24K GVWR gooseneck with 2 jacks on a manual handle. But looking for dual electric jacks. Any suggestions. Or any other device that will help with manual jacking up when I have my tractors on the trailer. Please advise.

Hey Juan! Depending on the jacks you may be able to add a motor like # LC196308 but you have to make sure it is rated for the weight up front (you're probably around 6,000 lbs but could be more).

For a complete replacement I recommend the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010. These have a combined weight capacity of 12,000 lbs and use dual motors. These can easily handle your trailer, and will also allow for side to side leveling since they can be adjusted individually.

I attached a diagram below with the measurements for the weld stops. If they don't line up with what you have now you will have some welding to do for installation.

What kind of tractors are you hauling?

Hey Robin - I haul a 7K lb Mini Excavator and a 9K lb skid steer on tracks. Plus my trailer weighs 8K lbs.

@JuanR those sound like fun toys! If you look at the picture of that motor you can see how it attaches on the bottom. That is a pretty standard connection so you can see how that lines up with your current jacks. However, the Ultra-Fab # UF17-943010 will be a bigger improvement and that single motor probably doesn't have the capacity to handle your equipment. Those jacks will be especially useful if you're out on uneven job sites. You can also go with a hydraulic setup like the Dexter Dual Hydraulic Jack System # DX42CR.
