This Dexter trailer hub-and-drum assembly is made for 8,000-lb axles and gives you the solid braking surface your setup needs. It works with 12-1/4" brake assemblies and includes everything required to get rolling again—inner bearing (25580), outer bearing (02475), races, oil seal, oil cap, wheel bolts, and lug nuts. Each hub supports 4,000 lbs and uses a sturdy iron construction for dependable strength under load.
Instead of dealing with packed grease, this setup uses an oil bath design so you can check and maintain lubricant levels without pulling the hub apart. The clear oil cap lets you see the oil level at a glance, making it simple to top off before a trip. It’s a straightforward way to keep bearings running cool and smooth mile after mile.
The hub comes with the bearings, races, seal, oil cap, wheel bolts, and lug nuts already supplied, so you don’t have to hunt for matching parts. With the correct inner diameter (1.75") and outer diameter (1.25") bearings included, installation is clean and quick. Everything fits together easily for a direct replacement that gets your trailer back to work fast.
The 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and 9/16"-diameter wheel studs provide a solid, balanced connection to your wheels. The 4-3/4" pilot hole centers perfectly on the spindle, helping the hub run true. 1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Perfect fit. I bought these because I wanted to change my horse trailer from No. 2 wheel bearing grease to No. 00 semi fluid grease. It’s the best characteristics of both grease and oil hubs without the negatives if you ask me. Well I needed a vented hub so the oil bath hubs. A tube and a half later of Schaeffer’s 274 Moly EP synthetic NLGI#00 grease and all bearings packed, hubs half full of grease and everything torqued to spec and I was done. There really is no better place for trailer parts than etrailer. Best prices and fast shipping.

We received only three of the four packages that were supposed to have arrived… not sure where the fourth is, but we’re in a real pickle without it.!
It was easy finding the right hub for the trailer. Everything was correct and made the job easy to complete.
Need to ship in better packaging. Boxes came in with holes. Parts were missing.
Replacement parts were sent out but the job is now delayed waiting on the parts.
One hub arrived damaged, poor packaging. Also these are single units Not pairs. Be prepared to buy per wheel as needed.
The hub and bearings came quickly, fit perfectly, and have run as they should. I'm a happy customer.
The break parts are like original. When we got it back together we got our trailer DOT certified.Life can go on.
