Question:
Have a Dexter 8,000 pound OIL bath Axle. Looking for components. Spindle is damaged, can the spindle be replaced, bolt on or weld on? Do you have to replace axle shaft? Looking for all new parts on driver side left side. Hub/drum kit with bearing components and brake kit the bolts on. Thank You,

If just the spindle is damaged then you could probably get away with just replacing the spindle, but if the axle is damaged then you'll to replace the whole axle. If you aren't sure how much is damaged then you might want to have a shop look at your trailer just to make sure you have a safe setup.
We do have replacement hub/drum assemblies that use the oil bath setup but for spindles and an axle that large you'll need to have a shop place that order for you. For the hub/drums you'll need part # 8-285-10UC3-A for 5/8" studs or part # 8-285-9UC3 for 9/16" studs.
