The 12-volt DC fan keeps air flowing so things don’t get stuffy inside. It exhausts hot air and pulls in cooler air while the trailer or RV stays locked and secure. With 100 CFM airflow, it’s a big step up from a non-powered vent when you need steady ventilation on warm days or after cooking.
A basic hand crank makes opening and closing the wedge-shaped dome easy. The fan’s on/off switch is mounted right on the vent so you can flip it without extra wiring or remote controls. It’s a straightforward design that works every time without needing batteries or complicated parts.
The dome is made from durable smoke-colored polypropylene that’s aerodynamic when closed and lets in soft light. The galvanized steel roof flange resists rust and corrosion, so it stays sturdy season after season. The snap-out screen makes cleaning simple when dust or debris builds up.

This vent drops right into a standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" roof opening, making it an easy swap for older or broken vents. The included Polar White trim piece fits roofs 1-7/8" to 3" thick and gives the inside a finished look. It sits only 4-1/2" above the roof when closed and 10" when open, keeping a low profile that fits under most clearances.
Mounting the vent takes only basic tools. Just cut or reuse a 14-1/4" square opening, apply sealant, and fasten it with #8 screws. Screws and sealer are available separately in installation kit #344270KITW, which includes everything needed for a tight, weather-resistant seal.
