Spring-Loaded Handle on Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome
The easy-to-use handle on the E-Z Lift Ventadome lets you quickly open and close the roof vent from inside your RV. Unlike a standard handle or knob that can take time to crank, the handle on this vent is spring loaded. Simply pull on the handle and move it into one of 10 positions to open the vent. Each position offers a different degree of opening, and the handle locks into place. Also, the handle's T-shape makes it easy to grip.
Integrated Mounting Points for Vent Cover
There are 4 mounting points built into the flange of this roof vent. These points allow you to install a vent cover (sold separately) over the roof vent.
Installation Instructions
Note: Interior trim piece (garnish) and installation kit with screws and sealant are sold separately.
- Mark desired location for vent. Be sure to choose a location between roof joists.
- Cut a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening through roof and ceiling. (Or use existing opening if you're replacing a standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" vent.)
- Apply sealant to bottom of flange. Be sure to surround each screw hole.
- Insert vent through hole with screen frame extending through roof cavity and hinge of vent toward the front of the vehicle.
- Mount to roof with #8 screws.
- Remove screen frame to make electrical connections.
- Connect to 12-volt DC power source.
- Replace screen frame.
- Attach interior garnish piece with #8 screws.

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Was a little surprised there was no packing material at all around it in the box, but it was still in good condition. No instructions nor installation hardware provided, but pretty obvious how to install. Works great. Note that the interior trim kit is a separate product; I didn't order that. As others have said, I like the handle that allows for adjusting the lid position. I also ordered the "Dometic Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover - Black" cover to go over top of it, and it works great; its screw holes don't line up with the ones in the roof vent's mounting lip, but you just drill them where you need them.

Won't be adding power to it for a few months, fits like a glove on my 76 vw camper high top. The handle dosent like popping into full closed without being pushed upward so i don't know if the plastic teeth on the hight selector will wear out or break after several years of driving. I don't know how water resistant the fan motor is, i just get nervous when i see a metal cover on something that gets power and will get wet. Otherwise it looks pretty okay. I do like the solid spring loaded locking mechanism, it's pretty solid, and the handle looks stronger in person than in the pic, no worries about the springs not being able to keep the top locked into position. I plan on using it on a convention vehicle and there may be costumers so the handle profile might be an issue if you have super thick fingers or in costume.

This roof hatch has performed admirably and sustained storms (while left open even) that should have either flooded my trailer or ripped the cover off. Very content with my purchase and I won't hesitate buying additional equipment in the future.

It doesn't come with the interior trim piece or the hardware. You have to order everything separately. I didn't see the fine print at the bottom of the listing so now I either have to make a separate order for the interior piece, which is usually included, or i have to send the whole thing back. Totally Ridiculous.

I have purchased these before. Although they are not a real high end product, they are a good quality and I really like the way they open and close. I replaced all my vents with these this time around. Plan on getting vent covers for them. Had no problems with past purchase.

I loved that they were shipped the next day and arrived as promised. My installer had no trouble replacing the old Roof Vent. It fit perfectly. And I love "Manual Lift" as opposed to the old "knob." I just wish the plastic was a little heavier or thicker. And to my surprise, the Roof Vent was not packaged in a box. It was simply included with the other part I ordered in the larger shipping box. No instructions or hardware. They weren't needed but surprised they weren't included.

- How to Remove Screen for Cleaning on Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V FanI spoke with my contact at Ventline regarding your E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V3094-603-00C. To remove the screen, you will just need to release the 8 tabs by pressing a small screwdriver to them. You can release one tab at a time. Once all the tabs are released, the screen should pop out for easy cleaning. I have attached an image that shows one of these tabs for you to check out.
