Options for a Northern Breeze Fan That Stopped Working

Updated 03/08/2022 | Published 03/02/2022

Question:

Thank you for the help. I would like to replace the fan with something that has two speeds and blows out and pulls in. A manual lid is okay. This fan is connected to a thermostat and I would like to switch it to an on and off switch. please let me know what you think and what I need to do next.

It sounds like you likely have an issue with the circuit board. Unfortunately the Northern Breeze fan was discontinued in 2009 and we do not have the replacement parts available anymore. If parts are starting to go bad on your fan, the best solution is going to be to replace your fan with the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # V2094SP-34 which has a 12v fan and manual lift.

If you want to upgrade your fan, just let me know what you would like in your fan and I would be happy to help you find the fan that best suits your needs.

Given the information you provided that you would like in your new fan, the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote # FV807350 is going to be the best option. The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote # FV807350 is reversible, so it will blow air out or pull air in like you are wanting. While it will still have the option for the automatic thermostat settings, you can also use the remote or the knob on the fan to operate the fan manually. More like the on/off switch style you are wanting. It has a powered lift with rain sensor that automatically shuts when rain is detected so you won't have to worry about getting back to close your vent if it starts raining.
