Availability of Replacement Motor for Dexter VD0337-01

Question:

i have vent line by Dexter VD033701 Northern breeze fan motor... the motor stamp says Unimotor 24151 13011 IS there another kind? having no luck finding this motor.

Hey Larry! You did track down the right number, the VD0337-01 is the 12V motor for that Northern Breeze fan. However, it has been discontinued for quite a while now (since 2017), so trying to track one down is going to be a dead end.

At this point, the most reliable solution is to replace the entire vent assembly with a new one like the Ventline Ventadome # V2094SP-34. This fits the standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" roof opening your existing fan uses, and it works with roof thicknesses from 1-7/8" to 3". It’s designed to drop right in without having to modify the opening.
