Features to know about

Keeps Air Moving with 12V Fan: Circulates and Vents Hot, Stale Air

The built-in 12-volt DC fan pushes out hot or stuffy air so the interior stays comfortable and breathable. With a 100 CFM airflow rate, it moves more air than non-powered vents. You can switch it on or off right at the vent, keeping things simple while maintaining steady circulation even when the doors and windows are closed.

Opens Smoothly with Manual Crank: Adjust for Just the Right Amount of Airflow

The hand-operated crank makes it easy to open or close the dome exactly how you want. It’s a straightforward design—no remote or wiring complexity—so you can fine-tune airflow in seconds. The fan motor attaches from inside, so service and adjustments are simple when needed.

Built to Last with Durable Polypropylene Dome and Steel Flange

The aerodynamic, wedge-shaped dome is made of strong polypropylene that stands up to wind and weather. The galvanized steel roof flange resists rust and corrosion for long-term reliability. The translucent white cover lets in soft daylight without sacrificing privacy or protection.

Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vent with 12V fan and manual lift shown with white wedge-shaped cover open, designed for RV or trailer roof ventilation.

Fits Standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" Openings: Installs Clean with Birch White Trim

This vent drops right into a standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" roof opening, making it a quick swap for most existing vents. It includes a Birch White interior trim piece that fits roofs 1-7/8" to 3" thick and has a 2-1/8" garnish leg depth for a clean, finished look. The vent extends 4-1/2" above the roof when closed and 10" when open.

Simple Upgrade from Older Non-Powered Vents: Reliable 12V Performance

If you’re replacing an aging or broken vent, this model is a straightforward upgrade. It connects to a 12-volt power source and draws only 1.2 amps at 13.6 volts, giving you dependable airflow without heavy power use. Just add sealant and screws from the installation kit (#344270KITW) to finish the job right.

Simple R&R. I used mineral spirits to clean top surface. Didn’t use the inner lining that came with the kit. (Due to angled ceiling). So I sprayed the original white and reused it. Perfect

Job well done, Jay!! Thanks for the photos!

Ventline V2094SP-28 assembly installed without a hitch, replacing the original. Initially, this unit was back-ordered a few weeks. Tygan took the time to offer several alternatives to get me going, but I decided to wait for the OEM "Ventline" replacement. She stayed on top of things, and I was surprised to receive my vent much earlier than expected. AND she followed up right away to make sure all was OK. Certainly refreshing to get this level of outstanding service these days!! Thank you, Tygan!

Good quality and easy to install. Make sure you purchase the additional installation kit prior to installation.

Perfect fit for old Wells Fargo Cargo Trailer. Fan works great silent uses very little power.

Five stars to E-Trailer for processing my order same day and getting it on UPS Ground where it took the three days to get delivered in time for my install on the weekend. I'm assuming this product deserves 5 stars as well since it is what it was advertised to be. My only minor ding is for the two missing screws that are needed to hold the screen in place. The $20 for the 'installation kit' shipped a tube of urethane caulking two sets of screws, one for the mounting topside (plenty, thank you) and the bottom ones for the trim. But did not see the short 1/2"? for the screen. I had to use my old ones, one of which fell down a floor vent so I need to hit up a hardware store for it. The vent went in with little effort. Just took my time scraping off the old caulking and used plumbers putty, instead of the caulking for under the flange (in case I have to rip this up again). The tube provided just enough for a thick coat of goo to cover the flange and where it meets the roof. I have a rubber roof, so this was perfect. I'll rate the other things I purchased once I install and use them.

How quiet is the fan? We have a new fan and low is extremely noisy. Is this because the blades are plastic?

Chris, I cant comment on the actual use of the fan since I have not hooked it up to a battery to test it yet. We were planning on using it the week after the install, but stuff came up. Sorry I cant answer it. If youre patient, Ill respond once I do get around to it.

The vent is working fine. It makes about the same amount of noise as the original one did. The knob is a little shorter than the original crank, so a little harder to reach for my wife, whos shorter than me. The vent works very good. Just ordered another one minus the fan for the front of the trailer.

Hey Theodore. I'm glad that this vent was such a perfect fit for your toy hauler! Where are you going to take the camper too this year?

by:
I’m writing this review before installing the vent so I can’t attest to its durability/longevity. This is a lightweight unit but it should suffice for use about three times a year for a couple of days at a time. This unit is affordable; well under $200. It is a next step up from a passive vent with no fan.

The fan is fine. It opens and closes easily. The only mistake I made was thinking I had access to 12v near the opening. What I have access to is 115v for installation of an ac unit. Sooo, I cant attest to the performance of the fan yet.

This vent fit my need perfectly to replace a damaged, rusty and irreparable one in my 50 year old newly purchased camper. Etrailer.com was easy to find and order and they were very prompt with my order. The vent was easy to install and once I sealed it according to their instructions and with additional roof work being completed I have no more roof leaks! I also have a good looking, easy to use vent for my camper. I will be doing more business with this company in the future as I tackle other repairs on my camper. Thanks etrailer.com!

We ordered these products to replace vent covers that were recently damaged in a hail storm. From the moment I placed the order, the staff at etrailer.com stayed in contact with me via email to let me know exactly when we could expect shipment. The vent covers were received in good order.

Extremely cheaply made. The bug screen fits so loosely that the fan vibration will cause it to fall off. The interior shroud is ~2 1/4", leaving ~4" of the insulation exposed.

Lazer S.

4/28/2026

Sorry to hear that, Ed. I can't say I have heard the bug screen just falling out before. Do you have it fully installed? I know that's a fairly dumb question, but I still figured I would ask. I do also have to point out that this is for a 1-7/8" to 3" thick roof (as stated in the specs), so the shroud/garnish is 2-1/8" deep. This is why there are other options for that, like the 4-1/4" - Birch White # VA0445-28.

I had a very good experience with Etrailer.com. Sales person was knowledgeable with products, listened to My needs and quickly set up my order. I received my parts and only had one problem, I had base on a vent bent which was quickly straightened. I will definitely order all parts I can from etrailer. I will send pictures finished project, I’m replacing complete floor and roof. I decided to go ahead and replace all vents!

Thank You!

Excellent product! Easy to install and works like a charm. Particularly liked being able to cut the trim piece to fit depth of ceiling. The hardest part was removing the old one! Will buy other products from this company. Great service, quick delivery, exactly what was ordered. Well done!

The Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/12V Fan worked out very well. The installation was quick and easy. The fan operates as expected and the new style knob works well to open the lid.

Good quality products. They are exactly what I thought I ordered. It is complete and the fit and finish is excellent. I have to replace the old vents in my trailer. I was impressed with how quickly everything arrived. So very nice to have free shipping etrailer.com. I talked to a person before I confirmed my order just to make sure I was buying what I needed. She was very helpful and courteous. I will definitely be buying from etrailer again and telling my friends about it.

The Ventline Roof Vent is a very good vent. I used it on my enclosed cargo trailer. Should I ever need another roof vent, without a doubt, it would be Ventline.
