Question:
I have. 2011 Jayco Series Sport 8 popup camper with a basic Ventline VD0433 14” manual roof vent with screen. I would like to be able to fit it with a 12 volt fan without having to install a new vent system. Do you have any suggestions. I could wire it to a plug that could plug into the 12v socket on the ceiling. It could either be a perminant mount or something that hangs off the vent opening, when needed. Thanks,

You may be able to add a fan to your Ventline roof vent without removing it but it all depends on what part number you have. I spoke with my contact at Ventline who said that the VD0433 number you gave me is only for the screen on the vent.
If you have the part # V2110SP-24 that has the metal roof then my contact said that there is no way to modify it for a fan.
If you have the part # V2092SP-28 then there is a way that you could add a fan. The Replacement 12V DC Motor # BVD0218-00 and Replacement Fan Blade # BVD0215-00 can be used but the wiring harness and motor bracket are not available so you would need to come up with those parts.
My contact said that part # V2092SP-28 is essentially the same fan as part # V2094SP-28 without the fan. You could purchase part # V2094SP-28 and then use the parts in that vent to add to your current vent setup.
