Hello TJ, good question. It is possible to run a vent fan like the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # V2094SP-28 while you are towing. You will want to make sure the lid is facing the rear of the trailer. I recommend adding a Dometic FanTastic Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover # DMC38FR. This will allow you to open the lid without having to worry about it blowing open or coming off at high speeds.

Hey TJ, did you have a chance to try out the vent fan while towing your horse box? I'm curious if the vent cover helped keep everything secure on the road. Your experience could really help others looking to keep their trailers cool while traveling.
