Ventline Accessories and Parts - BVD0215-00

  • RV Vents and Fans
  • Roof Vent
  • Fan Blade
  • Ventline
  • Ventadome

Replaces a lost or damaged blade on the 12-volt fan in your Ventline Ventadome RV roof vent for motor homes and enclosed trailers.

Features:

  • Replaces a fan blade on Ventadome roof vents for motor homes and enclosed trailers
  • Works with Ventline Ventadome roof vent models V2094 and V2119 (2002 and newer)
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Overall diameter: 6"
  • 3/32" Diameter bore

Diameters of fan

This fan blade won't fit older, obsolete motors. If your Ventline roof vent has an older motor, it will have to be replaced along with the fan blade. To determine whether you have an old or new motor, measure the length of the motor from end to end (excluding shafts and mounting hardware, measuring just the case.) If the motor measures 2", it is an older motor and should be replaced with the fan blade. A new motor measures 1-1/2" in length.

I ordered fan blade from etrailer after having to return two fan blades from another company. I was able to speak to a real person to place my order. I was still doubtful I would receive the correct fan blade. The fan blade arrived, and it fit!!! I am very pleased.

by:

The correct replacement for this application and easy to install. It took longer to remove the screen than to install the fan that you simply push in place onto the motor spindle. Removing the old dried out piece took a minute to let WD40 help loosen it up.

Work fine and hope it lasts another 14 years.

by:

This worked for my trailer's Ventline Ventadome. Had to replace the other one as it rotted away in the sun and broke into many pieces.
Plastic is sturdy.

Comments
Still working! Simple plastic piece, I would hope so!

Excellent, fast, friendly and helpful s ervice

by:

Fit the new electric motor perfectly. Was bummed out that I needed the new motor to replace the fan, but I understand after 20yrs, some parts are no longer available.

by:

Thank goodness etrailer sells this item. Ours wore out after replacing the motor 8 times over the last 4 years. We tried all of the big RV parts places in the Bartlesville Oklahoma area and NONE of the had the correct fan

by:

Perfect fit for my bathroom vent. Ordering was simple and shipping was quick. I will order from them again.

by:

Replaced the fan blade in a 2010 Nash. Just slips on the shaft. Luckily, the fan motor is the right size for this blade and did not have to be replaced as it still worked. Great customer service from Nicholas T! Will definitely order from etrailer again.

by:

Great service and prompt delivery. My items were sent to a friend in the USA who in turn forwarded them to me in Australia.

The items are as described and were a direct replacement for the original parts, both of which disintegrated on the same day - a pre programmed life span perhaps? Long hours exposed to our harsh sunlight played a major part in turning the fan blades brittle I expect.

Comments
All good thanks.

We ordered 3 vent fan blades, 2 fan switches, and 3 fan motors for our travel trailer. One set was to replace an existing vent fan motor and blades. The repair was straightforward and required no additional parts. The other two sets (blades, switch, and motor) were new installation in existing vents in a 2005 camper. We were happy to be able to find parts at etrailer.com that would fit the crossbars and vent screens currently in place so that we didn't have to change those out. We did have to go to an automotive supply store for wire connectors so that we could connect the new fans to the wiring in the ceiling. Our only concern is that the new motors attach to the mounting bracket with only one screw, and then the bracket attaches to the crossbar with only one screw. On the fan where we replaced parts, both the motor and the bracket are attached with two screws. We hope that the new fans will help us manage the interior temperature of the camper more easily.

Super fast delivery

I was looking around until i saw on youtube etrailer the model Number and it work perfect
Thank you

by:

I wanted a vent fan for my small RV bathroom, but didn't want to compromise the currently waterproof seal of the existing roof vent. So, I bought these pieces and made up a new plate to mount the motor to the existing metal crosspiece. I got power from the nearby ceiling light and mounted a pull chain switch in the ceiling. Not the easiest job in the world, but it beat tearing the old vent off the roof.

Re: the components - I only used the motor and wiring harness. The motor is surprisingly powerful, given its size and does a nice job spinning the fan blade. I think it will move quite a bit of air.

by:

Fan arrived when promised and in perfect condition. The bathroom exhaust stopped working on our RV last time out so I ordered a new motor (and fan since I damaged it during disassembly).
The motor (and fan) is a perfect fit, order was received when promised and best price! (Nearly $50 locally vs $XX... delivered)

Only complaint is there was an excessive amount of room in the box with very little "stuffing" and the motor tore loose from the package inside the box. Very minor issue since the product was not damaged but I believe it was luck that prevented the motor from damaging the (plastic) fan. With more secure packing for shipping [the motor], I would definitely give 5 stars.

Thanks etrailer, I'll be back for future needs!

by:

Just installed my fan blade from etrailer and it fits perfectly! The fan that it replaced was a prior replacement fan that had a different blade orientation and base so I assumed that I might have problems! But, as it turns out, the original fan was not the correct fan blade and the one that I purchased from etrailer was the correct part for my motorhome vent. It works better than what was originally installed! I am very happy with the new fan blade from trailer.

by:

The product itself is a direct replacement for the original Ventline fan blade. It installed quickly and easily.

The replacement fan blade functioned perfectly after an easy install. Traded the trailer with replacement fan blade in May 2013.

Ordered a replacement Ventline fan blade to replace the original blade that failed due to age. Ordering was simple and the item arrived quickly. The old fan was easy to remove and the new fan blade installed easily on the motor shaft. Used a pair of pliers to seat the new fan blade on the serrated shaft. Installation took about 15 minutes. Great place to shop for RV parts and accesseries.

by:

The fan worked just as it was said it would. Just push it on the motor shaft and put it all back together. It works fine and the service was just great. Any other parts for my Alumascape fifth wheel I will get through here. It is over one hour drive to get to a place to buy what I need for my camper. I do not know about the rest that drive that far t get the products you seek. It cost a lot now days for a long round trip. I will buy online I cannot beat the savings.

by:

The item I ordered was exactly as described and a perfect fit.
Very easy to do business with etrailer.com and would highly recommend them.

I have order from etrailer previously. Have always been impressed with their selection, customer service, product info, pricing, and speed of order processing and shipping. Ventline replacement parts were as anticipated and installation was without problem. I have and will continue to recommend etrailer. Thanks for being a great company with awesome customer service!

by:

Finally found the right replacement fan blade for my VentLine exhaust fan. I saw this exact same model number: BVD0215-00 on several websites, but when I zoomed in, they were all for a motor with a D shaft, not a round shaft, which is what this Ventadome Vent uses, with the newer motor, which is about 1.5 high cylinder only. Etrailer was the only place that I could find the replacement blade for a round shaft.. Ive included a photo, should be high enough resolution for you to see the round opening. So, for this ventline model v2094, this is the blade you need! Happy camping!

  • How to Remove Enclosed Trailer Roof Vent Screen
We have a video that outlines the procedure for removing the roof vent screen, click on the provided link to view the video. The procedure will involve removing the interior trim as well as the knob or crank, and then the screen can be removed by taking out the screws that hold it in. Because your vent has a fan, the procedure might be slightly different, but the video will still provide you with a good idea of how the vent goes together.

The replacement fan blade, # BVD0215-00, does just push onto the shaft of the motor. It is a tight fit so it does not need any additional fasteners. There are some grooves in the shaft, see picture, that allow it to grip the fan.

  • Can a Fan be Installed in a Roof Vent that Does Not Have a Fan
All of the fans and fan motors that we offer are replacement items for roof vents that came with fans. If the roof vent in your trailer did not come with a fan, then you may be able to add a fan, but you will likely have to fabricate a mount for the fan in the vent. You will also want to make sure there is enough room in the vent to install a motor and fan. The motor that I recommend is the Replacement 12 Volt DC Motor, # BVD0218-00.
