Secure Leverlock system ensures that the coupler locks in place on hitch balls measuring 1-7/8", 2" and 50 mm, and the integrated electric reverse lockout lets you back up without activating the trailer brakes. Bolt-on installation.
Features:
Specs:
When you apply the brakes in your tow vehicle, deceleration occurs and momentum pushes your trailer toward the rear of your vehicle. With surge brake systems, the actuator is triggered as your trailer moves forward while the tow vehicle slows. The actuator telescopes, applying force to its master cylinder, which in turn supplies the necessary hydraulic pressure to engage the trailer's brakes.
Electric reverse lockout with solenoid is automatically activated when you shift the tow vehicle into reverse. To use this feature, you must have a 5-pole flat, 6-way round or 7-pole wiring harness.

delivered on time as promised
Great service. Great product. Fast delivery. What more could you ask for?
works good
Great product and service.
Great the lever lock works great better than the screw down easy to lock.
My Grandson and I installed this coupler in less the 2hrs. Bleeding was very easy.
Easy to install. Works smoothly and without problems.
Part fits and works like the original. The only negative is that I wish it had came with the "multi-fit" coupler as the original had. Other wise it works great.
Very good product excellent people to work with.Had a problem with a switch and they took care of it. This is the way the customer should be treated.
Installation went without a hitch! Communication excellent from ordering the product to video and instructions in final email.
Great addition to my trailer.
Very nice Actuator, and very fast shipp ing.
No printed manual came with unit. It was online here so not a big issue. Since the unit comes with the solenoid, it would have been good to have a manual for that. Could not find one but some other reviews and Q&A gave me what I needed.
Overall, the unit seems to work perfectly and the installation was easy.
Easy install work great fast shipping and good service all I needed.
Products were delivered very quickly. Easy directions and installation. I just wish I would have known extra hardware would be required to install products.
Tried to talk with etrailer about the addtional bolts required but they could not offer much information. They did try to answer my questions though.
I used these guys twice and will use them again!
Excellent product at a good price, it is as easy as plug and play (term use in computers). Excellent delivery able to track from departure to arrival. This is my second order with Etrailer and I am very pleased. Will buy again as needed.
I have purchased quite a bit on the the internet lately and I will say that etrailer has been the best so far with their service and attention to the order. From the minute I ordered this part I was kept informed as to the status of the order. It was shipped fast and arrived within a very reasonable time frame. The Titan coupler is a good product and it was packaged with care so it arrived safely. I have had a great experience with etrailer and will look to them again for trailer parts.
The unit comes complete with the master cylinder and actuator and it is very easy to install. No special tool needed. The only issue is the wiring is not marked to indicate ground, etc... so a little guessing game will be required. Overall a great product. The customer service at etrailer was fantastic. THis unit will be used on a King Trailer for a 20' boat.
Installation was fairly easy. I made my own pressure bleeder and although the process was slow, it pushed out all the old brake fluid and air bubbles and now my trailer brakes work well. The solenoid that allows you to back up the trailer without applying the brakes works well too. Excellent product.
I recently purchased the Triton surge brake actuator. Took only 3 days. I thought that was extremely fast. I didn't expect the extra solenoid that came with it. Thanks. The unit bolted right up. Bled the brakes and wired the brake solenoid. Everything was working as advertised. Until the day i took the boat to gas up. The brakes didnt work. I found the solenoid had failed close. Good thing i had an extra. But all the extra work in bleeding. Still all in all. Its a good unit.
This brake actuator has worked fine for one year. To be honest, I have not put too many miles on it. I have experienced no disc brake dragging, which is the problem that motivated this purchase. Installation was simple. The hitch ball clamp mechanism moves easily.
the product(s) I received from etrailer were excellent and easy to install. I only wish that I had spoken with someone with more knowledge of the product line; I would have ordered everything at once. As it was, I ordered the actuator separately and when I inquired about a flex brake fluid line kit, I was told they weren't available. I had a brake shop finish the job of installing the kit and bleeding the system. I saved more than $600.00 by doing the disassembly of the drum brake my self, so I feel good about the whole job.
I bought one with the electric lock for backing up. I have an uphill driveway and when I tried to back the boat in , when I stopped to re adjust the steering the trailer brakes would lock up. I called about the problem and was told it just would not work in my driveway. I wish you had included that information in the literature. I had to drill the actuator and install a removable pin to keep it from locking up.
This product is great it fit my trailer like a glove and the installation was a breeze. The master cylinder was bad in my old one and this fixed my problem.
