Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Timken replacement LM501349 trailer wheel bearing. This is a high-quality tapered roller bearing. It's gonna replace the bearing on your trailer. If you're not familiar, Timken does have a great reputation within the industry.
They're very well known because they are engineered to perform better and last longer than the competition. This does have the industry standard number printed right there on the inner ring or the cone. So you can see that LM501349. So that's a great way to make sure that you're getting the right bearing. So if you see that on your original bearing, you can trust this is going to work for you.
This is going to serve as the inner bearing for the agricultural hub part number that you see on the screen there or model number that you see on the screen, or it can act as the outer bearing for the agricultural hub that you see on the lower portion of the screen there. So inner or outer, depending on what you're needing. And this is going to work with the race numbers that you see on the screen there. It's gonna fit right in place and operate very smoothly in any of those race numbers. So if you have any of those, it's another great way to identify which variant is gonna work for you.
The only other way is to measure your inner diameter here, but that is very precise. So you're gonna want to use some digital calipers, like we have here, to make sure that you're getting the right number. So this inner diameter, we're looking at 1.625 of an inch. So make sure that you have the right bearing, that it's gonna replace the one that you are already have. That completes our look for today.
