This transfer switch automatically changes from shore power to generator power when needed. Protects your electrical system from AC power backfeed.

Furrion's transfer switch is wired to automatically change the primary source of AC current from shore power or an inverter to a generator when available. So, in the case that you unexpectedly lose shore power, the switch will automatically begin to run power to your RV's appliances from your generator.
The switch between power sources is seamless to the point that you won't even notice the difference in power being sent to your appliances and electronics. The 50-amp single pole switch provides 120V or 250V AC. To prevent electrical interruptions or damage to the system, the time delay function utilizes a 20-30 second window to switch between power sources. This protects against dangerous backfeed, and keeps the voltage from each power source from being active at the same time.
The time delay function features a bypass switch for inverter power. Since an inverter doesn't need time to warm up like a generator does, you can bypass the time delay for instant transfer from shore power to inverter power.
The plastic case has 15 punch-out holes which allow you to arrange the cables and wiring in whatever way is best for your setup. The included user manual lays out 3 typical setups for you.
The switch wires to your shore power input and generator or inverter input. Both inputs are wired to the AC panel.

Exact replacement for my Class A RV. Straight forward install. TIP: you need to turn off 50 amp breaker for unit too function properly. This is not clearly stated in instructions
withall the wires in my old todd series ps245s had me worried that i couldn't install the new one but with the instruction it didn't take me 45 minutes to do my self and it worked perfect also 2 day delivery time great job you guys thank you teddy
Added this when I upgraded my camper to run on full battery power. Rerunning my electrical through this transfer switch made the process so much easier now when it detects shore power lost it auto changes to battery power. Very easy to install.
I was replacing a 22 year old transfer switch of the same model. So, installation was straight forward. Etrailer shipped the transfer switch quickly. The price was very competitive. Very happy with the customer service.
The only thing I wish I had of known that they do not count holidays when you ask for express shipping
This is a direct replacement for the 50 amp ATS that was in my RV. The new replacement is working like a champ.

I bought two of these when my brother and cousin upgraded my RV electrical system from 30 to 50 amp. One for the generator and one for the inverter. They “dummy proofed “ it by using two. It’s been over a year and no problems. ETrailer delivered quickly and sent everything I needed to get the job done right (except for the brother and cousin who were willing to do the installations!
Exactly same as unit as originally installed one that got “fried” by power surge. Hopefully I will be smart enough to keep surge protector on in future so won’t have same thing again.

Perfect fit for replacing unit that had gotten “fried” during electrical storm. Function perfectly. No complaints at all.
I did not have high hopes for the Furrion brand. All other Furrion brand products i have used the past are of low quality.
The switch has a humm to it that can be heard in the trailer. The unit is mounted in storage compartment. It does work as described. The wiring instructions are lacking good information. I really don't have any viable complaints yet.

Nice switch but one of the small jumper wire screws was stripped out. Luckily I was able to repair it.
I indtalled ot this afternoon. The directions are easy to follow and the quality was good. Good electrical connectors.

Great product and a perfect replacement. The only thing different from the original switch was the generator and shore power connections were flipped. Excellent product!!!
Installed the new transfer switch yesterday and it works as described. The install was made difficult because the location and the very stiff and hard to manuver #6 wire used in my old Holiday Rambler Navigator. The good news is it works!

Had a neighbor who works on his rv when necessary install this transfer switch in my rv. I watched, and if I'd known it was that straight forward I could have done it myself. Works perfectly.

Installed just as expected. All works well. Now to go on a trip and test it further.
I replaced a WFCO transfer switch that came with our RV. They overnighted for me and installed it, see picture. It solved our problem and so far is working fine. What I don’t like is only one grounding bar, very hard to deal with wire for these units. I had to install upside down, would recommend they add additional or longer bus bar. I give etrailer 5 stars. Aaron also five stars, he called the manufacture and got my question answered in short 30 minutes.

I installed your product last year. The unit was under the bed which made it difficult to get too. The biggest problem was there was no grommets for the wires. Since I was at a RV park I cut out the olds and installed them into the new unit. This was a very lengthy difficult process. If I had known I would ordered new ones too. On there that the unit is working great.
