12" x 2" Passenger's-side electric trailer brake assembly fits 7,000-lb axles. Mounting flange has a 5-bolt pattern. Nev-R-Adjust brakes require little maintenance. Fits 14-1/2" to 16-1/2" wheels.

Easy install, offered videos are great, saved some money by doing it myself. Product made in America and fits correctly. Great service to find the correct parts, great communication and shipping.
Great value. And a great company to work with. Make sure when you buy these brakes that you order self adjusting. (Not manual adjusting). This is an awesome time to also repack your bearings and put new seals in. I rate this job a 3 on the scale of 1 to 5 for difficulty.

Order was received timely. I had questions regarding a possible design change going from two spring to single spring. I contacted customer service and they replied swiftly. Not being sure of the answer the customer service rep. Conner contacted the manufacturer to determine proper answer. All is good , apparently Dexter has changed from 2 spring to single spring at the top. The attached pictures show what I am referring to. Look at the wiring in the faulty picture. Of course pulling the hub was my last thing I looked at. Hence why I was getting a ground short and no brakes.

I had the brake lining shatter off of one of the shoes. This happened within the first 100 miles after putting the new brakes on. Tore the drum up beyond repair. Working on getting the brakes replaced under warranty but I had to ship them the parts back first. Trailer is up on blocks until then.
Product was an exact fit. Much easier than fighting springs and hold downs even with the right tools. It took about 45 min. per wheel start to finish. Etrailer was very helpful when ordering parts.
Got here fast and I’m great condition. Precise description and exactly what was needed to complete the suspension/ brake repairs. Can always count on Etrailer to get it here fast and right the first time!
I placed an order on Monday and received it on Wednesday. The items were undamaged and in original boxing, what more can you ask for.
Ordered lots of parts on Monday, received most of them by Thursday. The received parts were well packaged and undamaged. A few of the parts they didn't have in stock so they had those drop-shipped to me which should be delivered in the next couple of days.
No supplier I have ordered any parts from has such a great technical reference web site or personal customer support. Yea, Rebecca - Well Done! Yes, I'm very happy with the pricing.

I have had this item installed for approximately one year on our 42 foot, 18,000 pound 5th wheel. It was easy to install and set up and has worked flawlessly ever since. We have put over 6,000 miles on the 5th wheel since the installation. I will definitely buy again if the need arises.

Very well Etrailer came thru with the parts ias in dire need of in a timely manner. I needed brake assembliies and drums for my 5th wheel Etrailer researched and very quickly got me the needed parts Not all parts were Dexter but that was expained to me. And the substitues worked very well. I will be a returning customer for sure ss they were very helpful while ordering and thru checkout.
I was worried about putting brakes back together, this is an easy repair with only 5 nuts to put on and rewire. Information on getting the right or left brake was very good and made this an easy project.

Working well, as it should but it is on a 5th wheel and doesnt have s lot of moles on it.
OEM Dexter parts well worth the cost. Brakes are very important in the scenarios I use my trailer. You definitely feel 6 brand new brake setups behind you! etrailer kept me well informed through the process on order status. Shipping was quick. Will be shipping etrailer for any of my trailer stuff going forward.

Brake assembly failed again, would not recommend dexter self adjusting brakes 2nd set that was completely destroyed. Replaced with manual adjustment assembly.

I traded last summer for a new one but the brakes worked just fine.
eTrailer shipped the product the same day and I received these assemblies 2 days later. Great service!
Very easy product to install. Looking forward to getting my trailer on the road and test them out. Keep in mind you'll need to purchase the plugs for the backplate as the old ones usually are bridle and probably won't seal out the elements.
Arrived in good condition. All new parts and easy to install. Only concern was that the wire to the magnets on the inside might get rubbed against by other parts or get pinched. I slipped small plastic hose over wires as extra protection. Be sure and follow instructions and and adjust brakes after installing hubs.
