  • CE Smith

Easily load your pontoon boat with these roller-style guide-ons. Corrosion-resistant posts support 9" rubber rollers with endcaps. They fit trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall. Hardware included.

Features:

  • Roller-style guides support your pontoon boat and keep it centered while you're loading it onto your trailer
  • Adjustable height provides a good fit for your boat
  • Support posts clamp onto the top of your channel, box-beam, or I-beam trailer frame
    • Mounting brackets allow you to adjust the distance between posts
    • Galvanized steel construction is sturdy and resists corrosion
    • Hardware included
  • Black rubber rollers with endcaps won't scratch your boat
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Quantity: 2 roller-style pontoon boat guides
  • Application: pontoon boat trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall
    • 2 Extra-long U-bolt kits (CE11416 - sold separately) can be used to mount on frames up to 3" wide x 5-1/4" tall
    • 2 Sets of I-beam clamps (CE27682A - sold separately) can be used to mount on I-beam frames that are larger than 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall
  • Roller length: 13"
    • Length not including endcaps: 9"
  • Distance above trailer frame: 25" (from bottom of roller to top of frame)
  • Post dimensions: 23" tall x 1-1/2" wide
    • Mounting area is 9-1/2" long

Adjustable boat guides can be fine-tuned to work with your boat and your trailer. The galvanized steel support posts mount on top of the crossmember on your pontoon boat trailer's frame. Just slide the posts into the mounting brackets and secure the posts so that the distance between each bunk and pontoon is approximately 2" to 3". The rubber roller guides help to center your pontoon boat during loading and to support the boat during transport.

Galvanized Steel

Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

I have a pontoon boat and the bunks on the trailer are poorly designed and the boat is very difficult to get on the trailer properly. After installing These guides loading the boat is much easier. Very pleased with this product.

by:

One of the best purchases I have ever made for my new Pontoon boat. This was the first Pontoon boat we have owned and we are trailering it to the lake. After taking just a few times to get it on the trailer the first time, I decided to research guides. I decided on buying 2 sets of these guides. Now I never have any problems getting the boat on the trailer the first time. I highly recommend this product.

Got the folding saw to get free shipping.
Got
the roller on the pontoon trailer. It made lining the boat on the trailer much easier.

Not completely happy with them. They continue to come loose every time I trailer my boat. No matter how much I tighten the nuts down, they come loose. I put the second pair on this year and they are doing the same thing.

by:

Shipping was very prompt and arrived in good condition. Installation was easy and guides appear to be sturdy and well made. Although I’ve not yet loaded my boat on the trailer since installing the guides, I am confident they will make loading so much easier!

Amy is awesome! We call her Awesome Amy for short. I'll make sure she gets to see your review. Thank you! :)

This is a great product. Because these rollers are guiding a heavy, bulky boats, the tubular build allows easy bends from an individual bump. It would be nice to redesign with a solid build so the post is not as flexible.

by:

Easy to install.
Really helps getting
the tri-toon on the trailer especially in winds or fast currents.

by:

Easy to install my trailer was missing the middle set. I don't know I ever loaded the 24fter with out them great products

by:

Great product!!!

by:

Very well built and does the job guiding the pontoons onto my trailer. I would highly recommend these and would buy them again.

by:

Had an opportunity to try it out Sunday when loading the triune back on the trailer was reasonably windy made trailer capture extremely easy very confident highly recommend wonderful product. Very sturdy. Amazing purchase 10 out of 10. Excellent product.!!!!

That's awesome, Mitch! I bet being able to get your boat pack on the trailer easier helps the end of the day pack up a much smoother experience.

by:

Fits just as expected. Cant wait to try it out! Nice heavy duty materials with all needed hardware.

by:

Amazing quality and structurally sound

by:

Just purchased a new tri-toon watercraft, it did not come with trailer alignment guides …. these roller guides are perfect, we look forward to years of easily aligning the boat to the trailer bunks ….. very well made. Thank you !!

by:

Order shipped very quick without issue and arrived as described. Functionality of the product is a different story. Even though I installed according to instructions they created a huge gash in the side of one of my toons. Learn from my misfortune and do not buy these!

I have contacted the manufacturer and they have confirmed that there is not enough room between your pontoons. The 3 inch space is the same on the left and right, you will need to return what you had bought. These guide-on’s are to help put the boat on a trailer, outside of the pontoons. We do not sell a pontoon guide that goes under the boat, only on the outside of a trailer.

by:

Easy to install !
Need an impact drill

I installed two sets .
One set at the rear of the trailer and one at the front.

Looks like you killed it with installation! Do you get out on the water much this time of year? The last time I was on a boat was March 2020 I believe. Never been so cold in my life, haha! The breeze off the river we were on was FRIGID!

by:

Working good so far. Easy installation

by:

Great product. Easy to apply to trailer. I would not suggest application on back portion of trailer for pontoon boats. They are too short to see when loading the pontoon boat. I bent 2 sets by a soft bump when I did not see it.

by:

Great product! I ordered this as an alternative to a $650 rail system. The price was far more reasonable for my budget. I have a 24' pontoon and have struggled getting it straight on the trailer consistently so that the logs fall into the rails over the entire length. Shipping was very fast which I was thankful for. Took about an hour to assemble and install.
On my first try this weekend I got the boat on the trailer perfectly. I felt the rear guide nudge the backend over so that it lined right up. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!!!

Its been a year and still helping me every time I load up. I did add some small flags to the rollers after being to deep and landing a pontoon right on top of the roller. The flags help me not to back in too deep as well as show me I am centered at the back of the trailer.

by:

They worked great. Thank you Easy insta llation.

by:

Just got them installed. Only took about 40 minutes with hand tools. Easy enough for 1 person to do it alone. Maybe 20 minutes if i had a helper. I'll be launching the boat in a day or 2 but these look like they will really do the trick.

  • Looking For Guide Ons For 2024 StarCraft Tri-Toon
Hello Chad, thanks for reaching out. The CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE27672 will work fine with a StarCraft tri-toon, assuming you’ve got a pretty standard bunk-style trailer under it. We’ve put those on plenty of tri-toons and they do exactly what you want, which is help center that middle tube when you’re loading, especially if there’s wind or current trying to push you off. They’re not there to carry weight, just to guide and keep things lined up so you’re...

  • Where to Mount CE Smith Pontoon Guide Ons on Trailer
Hey Ed, there isn't a whole bunch of different ways to the mount the Pontoon Guide Ons part # CE27672 that you referenced. Basically you are limited to where the crossmembers are on the trailer frame and then matching them up to the toons when the boat is on the trailer. Most important is to have them at the rearmost crossmember but it really comes down to what your setup is like and using your best judgment. I attached a review video for more info on these as well.

  • Recommended Pontoon Boat Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailer
The pontoon trailer guide-ons only come in a set of 2 as that is all that is needed, although you can add more if you believe that it is necessary. That all just depends on how confident you are about staying on the right track once you have started guiding your pontoon onto your boat trailer. You will want to position them on your boat trailer so that they span the open space on the underside of your pontoon boat (see attached picture). There are 2 different style of guides that you can...

Though we do not have an option that would have a perfect 90 degree angle, I may still have something that would work. Yes, you can use Roller Bunks # CE27700 with a pontoon boat trailer. This can actually vary from trailer to trailer. The CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE27672 is a great option but the height may be an issue depending on your trailer. These are 24" tall so you will want to measure to determine if they will be short enough to not hit the bottom of your Sea-Doo Switch Sport 18. If you don't already have upright wooden bunks on your trailer (see attached) and you're looking to use these solely then I'd say to get 2 sets. However, if you do have upright bunks then you probably just need 1 set to help you get the pontoon lined up.
