I see that many buy two sets but my husband thinks we only need one pair. What is your opinion?

The great thing about boat trailers is that everybody tends to have a different setup and the amount of CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE27672 you need really boils down to what you plan on having on your trailer.
If you don't already have upright wooden bunks on your trailer (see attached) and you're looking to use these solely then I'd say to get 2 sets. However, if you do have upright bunks then you probably just need 1 set to help you get the pontoon lined up.
