Hello Chad, thanks for reaching out. The CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE27672 will work fine with a StarCraft tri-toon, assuming you’ve got a pretty standard bunk-style trailer under it. We’ve put those on plenty of tri-toons and they do exactly what you want, which is help center that middle tube when you’re loading, especially if there’s wind or current trying to push you off. They’re not there to carry weight, just to guide and keep things lined up so you’re not fighting it at the ramp.
Where you want to slow down and double-check is the trailer itself. Those brackets are built to clamp onto typical crossmembers up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall, so if your trailer has oversized steel or a heavier-duty frame, you might need different U-bolts or a different setup altogether. Also, if it’s not a bunk trailer, like one of those scissor or custom cradle styles, mounting can get a little tricky and they’re not always the best fit.
If everything under your boat looks like a normal pontoon bunk trailer, you’re good to go. Mount them toward the rear crossmember so they catch the center toon as you’re loading, and they’ll make life a lot easier, especially if you’re loading solo.
Where do you typically launch or load your pontoon boat? Salt or fresh water?

Chad, the rollers that I purchased provided the exact solution for my Tritoon. On windy days, trying to trailer the Tritoon was a difficult chore but the roller guides allowed me to just begin the alignment and kept it. All the way to the trailer. One of the few items that I have purchased that soled my issue 100%.

Chad, I installed mine at the very rear of the trailer to give me an early star at linening up un the bunks, especially on windy days. Works well for that purpose. My trailer came with two roller guides on each side, but one was at the very front and the other was at mid point, so that I had a difficult time getting the pontoons lined up early. Placing a set of roller guides at the very rear solved that problem

Hey Chad, I installed the CE Smith roller style guides on my pontoon boat trailer and they have worked great! Mine had the 3 inch channel and they bolted on fine. These are a great help for loading my pontoon boat on the trailer. I installed mine on the rear of the trailer and once centered the boat glides right on. Hope this helps you.
