Im looking at a 60 inch high pair of guide ons for my pontoon trailer that i have a 25 ft pontoon boat. the last pair i had bent the second time i used them. could i use theses for loading the boat or use some thing else.I think the other set was not well built. and how far from the trailer do the stick out

Post style guide ons like the part # CE27640 are designed to be visual aids and are not designed to be used as physical guides. For a pontoon application you would be better served with the CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons # CE27672 which can be used like you are wanting. I attached a picture that shows what they look like installed as well.

The pontoon trailer guide-ons only come in a set of 2 as that is all that is needed, although you can add more if you believe that it is necessary. That all just depends on how confident you are about staying on the right track once you have started…
