Features to know about

Installs Clean Without Splicing: Plug-In T-Connector Harness

Wiring a trailer usually means cutting into factory wires, but this harness keeps things simple. The Curt T-Connector plugs directly inline with the vehicle’s tail light wiring and gives you a 4-flat connector for trailer lights. There’s no splicing or wire tracing—everything clicks together using factory connectors for a clean, hidden install.

Reliable Power Where You Need It: Powered Converter with Fused Protection

The harness includes a powered converter that draws power directly from the battery through a fused connection. It uses a 10-amp inline fuse on the power feed and a 20-amp fuse that installs in the under-hood fuse box at position 10 labeled “Trailer Tow.” This setup protects both the vehicle and trailer circuits while ensuring consistent 12-volt power to your lights.

Fixes Common Factory Wiring Gaps: Full 4-Pole Functionality

Some vehicles don’t come pre-wired for towing, leaving you without working trailer signals. This harness adds all four basic functions—running lights, turn signals, and brake lights—through its standard 4-flat connector. That means your trailer lights stay in sync with your vehicle’s lighting right out of the box.

Upgrades Easily for More Capability: Compatible with 7-Way Adapters

If you want to expand beyond basic lighting, this harness sets you up for it. Once the 4-way is installed, you can plug in an adapter like a 4-to-7-way to run additional circuits or connect a brake controller later. It’s a solid foundation that lets you add towing features as your setup grows.

Built for Reliability: Curt Quality with Replaceable Harness Option

The converter box is sealed and weather-resistant to handle regular towing use. If it ever fails, the full harness can be replaced as one unit for straightforward maintenance. Curt backs it with a one-year limited warranty, so you can wire up and tow with confidence.

Working great. not bad installing it either. I would recommend this product rather than try to wire it any other way.

by:

I can't say enough great things about etrailer. Even through email, responses are very quick. They were able to help me get the right part when part of my order was wrong through no fault of their own. I could not ask for better customer service. Thanks, etrailer!

by:

The product installed easily, and exactly like the instructions said. The only complaint I have is with the design. So you run the pigtail out the back hatch of the Pacifica. Which is okay, but it seems like with a bit more wire you'd be able to route it down through the tail light assembly on the drivers side and then along the hitch itself.

I'm afraid the door closing on it over and over again is going to sever the wires.

by:

It was inexpensive. It was fast and the video to install it, It's so important because this thing's like ebolas spaghetti

  • Adapter Needed To Convert A 7-Way To 5-Way And Lockout Surge Brakes
If you have a factory 7-way on your vehicles they should be wired to the reverse light circuit so all you would need is an adapter to go from your 7-way to a 5-way like part # 707250. Typically this wire is purple or yellow and is the center pin of the 7-way. You can put your tow vehicle in reverse and use a tester like # PTW2993 to see if the 7-way is indeed wired to the reverse light circuit or just use the adapter to test if it is. If it's not then you'll need to run a wire from the...

  • Fuse Location for Trailer Wiring Harness # C55530 on 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
When installing the Tow Ready Curt Wiring Harness # C55530, on your 2004 Chrysler Pacifica, you will need to access the fuse box under the hood on the driver side near the front of the vehicle. Next, you will insert the 20 amp fuse into position number 10 labeled Trailer Tow/Spare B3-5 (see photo). I have attached a link to the installation instructions that contains this information.

  • Will Full Size Spare Still Fit Under 2005 Chrysler Pacifica After Installing Curt Trailer Hitch
After installing the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13529 your full size spare tire will still fit in the spare tire carrier under your 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The spare tire is lowered or removed for installation in order to make it easier to access the frame and install the trailer hitch. Once the hitch is installed, the spare tire can be raised back into position. I have attached an installation video of this trailer hitch being installed on a similar Pacifica to yours as...

  • Installing 7 Way Connector 32145 on a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
If you have the factory tow package, installation of part # 42145 is very easy. There will be a connector on a wiring harness that will fit this part, it will be tucked up, maybe taped, somewhere close to the rear bumper. You will then attach the mounting bracket in a convenient location near the hitch, and it will hold the 7 way plug. If you do not have the factory tow package, you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55530. I've...

I do have a solution for you, however the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13362 referenced in your question is not designed to fit your 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. I instead recommend looking at the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13529. This Class III hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will provide a 2 inch receiver opening with a gross trailer weight capacity of 3,500 pounds. No drilling will be required for installation. Keep in mind that the exhaust and spare tire will need to be temporarily...

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Harness on 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Not Receiving Power
The first thing I'd recommend doing is making sure BOTH fuses are installed, the 10A installed inline in the power feed for the converter and the 20A fuse is installed in position 10 in the fuse box, listed as 'Trailer Tow'. If the fuses are installed and not blown, and the T connections that install inline between the taillight assemblies and the vehicle's taillight wiring harnesses are secure. If that all checks out, use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 and check the circuits on the...

The two hitch receivers offered for the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, Curt # 13529 and Draw-Tite # 75522, are basically identical, have the same towing capacities, and will install in the same way. There really is no way to get around lowering the exhaust and removing your spare tire to ease the installation process so it is highly recommended. Some say that Curt hitches have a better powder coating but for the most part, price is going to be the main difference. Now mattresses on the other...

I have recommendations for you but unfortunately, you will not have a factory plug in under your dash nor will you have a factory 7 way or 4 way at the back of your 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. This is because a factory tow package is not available for your vehicle.
