The dealership says that you use an intermediate connector in the left taillight housing to make a no splice installation. Is this true with your product?

The Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector # HM42190 that you referenced plugs into the factory harness near the rear bumper if your 2007 Chrysler Pacifica was equipped with a factory 7-way.
If you do not have any trailer wiring you would first need to start with a Curt Wiring Harness # C55530. This will provide you with a 4-way and is the style that plugs in line with the factory taillight wiring harness like you referenced.
To convert the 4-way to a 7-way you will need a 4-Way to 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. This comes with everything to convert the 4-way to a 7-way and install a brake controller if needed. Check out the installation instructions and video I attached.
