Question:
Have a trailer wire harness #C55530 and a cr-600led step. With all Lights OFF, theres a faint light on the LEDs of Cr-600led all of the time. When checking with volt meter at trailer plug PK11410 theres always power to the running lights terminal. I know that the LEDs or not enought to drain the car battery put is this normal.

Expert Reply:
There should not be any major constant power draw on any of the circuits on wiring harness # C55530. Though there may be some residual power coming through. There may be a short or ground issue that is causing some power to trickle through. Check the vehicle side connector for any dirt or corrosion and clean it out. Do the same for the connector on # CR-600LED.
