After installing the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13529 your full size spare tire will still fit in the spare tire carrier under your 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The spare tire is lowered or removed for installation in order to make it easier to access the frame and install the trailer hitch. Once the hitch is installed, the spare tire can be raised back into position.

I have attached an installation video of this trailer hitch being installed on a similar Pacifica to yours as well as the written installation instructions for the trailer hitch.

If you are interested in towing with your Pacifica and it did not come from the factory with a trailer connector, you can install a 4-Way flat trailer connector with the Curt # C55530. A ball mount kit, such as # 989900, is a great way to have options available to tow different trailers. I've also attached a help article on choosing the correct ball mount for you.
