This Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector gives you the basic lighting functions—tail, brake, and turn signals—through a single 4-way plug. It’s a straightforward way to make your trailer lights work in sync with your tow vehicle so you can stay visible and safe on the road.
Instead of hunting for an adapter or dealing with mismatched plugs, this harness splices directly into the vehicle’s existing wiring. The color-coded wires match standard trailer functions—brown for running lights, green for right turn, yellow for left turn, and white for ground—so it’s easy to follow and connect. Once wired in, it provides a solid, long-lasting link between vehicle and trailer.
The harness can be tied into the wiring along the driver-side frame rail or behind the rear bumper. That gives you flexibility during installation and helps keep the wiring tucked out of sight and protected from road debris. It’s a simple solution that keeps things neat while still being easy to reach when you need to plug in your trailer.
Whether you’re hauling a small utility trailer, boat, or camper, this harness provides consistent signal transfer every time you hook up. It works well with standard trailer wiring setups that use a 4-flat connector, making it an easy fit for light-duty towing jobs without any extra converters or adapters.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, WATCHED U-TUBE , INSTALLED IT IN MINUTES, ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS.
Wiring harness arrived several days ahead of schedule. Happy with product.
The harness comes with a adequate length for making connections.
The connections could be of the compression type, rather than the type used.
This would make the splice area smaller, and easier to cover over.
After my local AutoZone failed twice to get me what I needed at 50 dollars more, I called etrailer and had it in just a few days (faster service than what they promised). Fit was perfect and all is good. Great product info. Thanks guys
Works fine, but needed to drill access whole in bumper frame below tail light to route wire. Not a job for a novice.
everything I bought is exellent quality and got to me in a timely manner, couldnt ask for anytjing more,Thanks etrailer,Paul
fantastic fit...fantastic service...fantastic price... fantastic internet purchase right to the door free... did I mention free... fantastic...fantastic...fantastic...unless you went to the junk yard you would be crazy to buy any where else....
Box Arrived - had some damage to the box but the Hitch was not scratched or damaged at all. Installed it in an hour - Thanks for the great service and I'll be back when I need another one.
The product was just as advertised. I have installed these before so there was no surprises.
Thanks etrailer for provided such products at a reasonable price.
This product is excellent, exactly as described, and performs well. I would recommend purchasing from etrailer.
Order arrived on time. Was exactly as discribed with detailed installation instructions. Quality looks very good.Havent installed yet . Thankyou
I give three stars because the wire length is too short for use on the Astro van. You’ll need to extend the length by an irritating foot. You’ll also need to extend the right side blinker wire by 4 feet to reach the harness near the ceiling which contains the right side blinker wire. The quality is good, but I would have paid more for longer leads. I would make all the conductors 4 feet longer and up the price.
I have not installed this wire harness yet. However the product arrived quick with no problems and I have received numerous responses from the company etrailer.com in regards to my purchase. So far great customer service.
Installation instructions didn't help a novice. [on-line video provided] wasn't any better. Had to take it to a shop. Perhaps an updated instructions is in order.
Harness went on just fine. It's of good quality and I like the added features of the weather cap for the plug. Wires are plenty long and it's got that wire protector. Went to the parts store and got some wire connector crimps and put it on with no issues whatsoever.
If I were to change anything about this product it would merely be to include the wire connecting crimps or make them available on the same web page as a suggested item.
Blazer had the towing package harness right where the instructions said to look - wires itnright up. Works like a charm!
It's always great to get a vehicle specific wiring kits create a neat and back-feed proof connection for trailer lights.
Attached as instructed. Video on site very similar to reality. Found existing wiring bundle behind rear bumper on driver's side. Product attached directly to that bundle and worked correctly.
Pretty simple part, just 8 crimps and route it. I think I had to supply my own butt splice connectors, this doesn't come with them, but not 100% sure on that. The rubber cap was also missing from mine but I called etrailer and they sent one right out.
The brake controller that I purchase is working very well. I am enjoying features of the product that I did not know existed before I purchased it, like variable braking on the trailer as one applies the brake on the primary vehicle. And, all of this can be adjusted. Great product that has made my hauling safer.
To be fair it's difficult to review this. I haven't installed it. The instructions, in my view aren't much help. Way too general. I've watched several video on how to wire this sort of thing in but again, nothing specific to my vehicle so I've been a little intimidated to get in there and start splicing. The product itself may be fine but until I install it I won't know for certain. I just need to get my confidence up a bit more before making the attempt.

I know that you are hesitant about the install of your wiring. This is a factory replacement so the wires you need should be along the drivers-side frame rail or behind the rear bumper. I would use a circuit tester to test for functions because sometimes the wires are different colors than what comes in this kit. Usually, the bigger white wire is the ground. The quick splice connectors are quite handy and relatively easy to use.
Nice quick and easy replacement for the old corroded connector on Blaze the wonder car.

Still running strong
All items ordered were delivered well packed to prevent damage and arrived within specified time. I will be ordering weight distribution and anti-sway system in the near future.
Wiring harness was good. Being it was a conversion van, main harness was not in normal location. The towing mirrors work fine except for a little vibration. Thought right side would have been wide angle, but will add stick-on for more coverage. The hidden hitch was very easy since the van is extended body...less than an hour to install.
Very pleased with ETrailer service and follow-up. They packaged and shipped the trailer wiring harness I ordered pronto, and sent it off via UPS Mail. I should mention, however, that the postal service side of the delivery was not good: Most of the time the post office is OK, but this time they "round-robined" the package to several post office locations -- and then it was delayed for 5 days at the last post office location:
1. I finally had to call ETrailer regarding the interminable delay; and their customer support did look into it, and the parcel finally arrived soon after.
In all, I'll be very happy to order from ETrailer again. I think they're a solid, reputable outfit. With the next order I'll probably pay extra to have the item shipped thru an expedited UPS delivery (rather than rely on the post office).
Everything you need to add a standard 4 wire trailer connector to most any vehicle. Inline tap connectors are provided if you already have a factory bumper mounted connector, or simply splice it to the end of the taped off harness. The included dust cover and plastic sheath is a must for any trailer connector as dirt and corrosion is the number one cause of faulty trailer lights. The price may seem a little high, but you will spend alot more acquiring the supplied parts in the kit.
