Hello, neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our B&B RV City Water Inlet for the Flusher, with a nice flange surface mount in Polar White color. So, folks, this city water inlet is gonna be for direct flushing of your waste water's black tank. So, you've got a nice hold here on the design here. I don't know what you would call it, like a flower shape. It's gonna give you a nice finger hold.
You've got the included screen where the hose is gonna connect, and then you've got the tethered cap here, which is gonna be nice whenever you're traveling down the highway, and when you open it, it's tethered so you can't lose it. You've got the nice pass-through valve. It is not a check valve, so again, it's a pass-through valve. We sell a couple of these that kinda look the same, so make sure you're reading the description, and getting the right one for what your need is. Now, this is gonna be highly effective when used with the B&B Flusher Sprayer that's mounted inside your tank.
And again, it has a dedicated open plastic valve to reduce corrosion from flushing and disinfecting process of that tank. Now, as far as some dimensions and everything, it uses a 1/2 inch MPT connection or male pipe threads. The cutout required to install this here would be a 1 1/2 inch diameter hole. The overall diameter of the flange itself is three inches across, and the valve depth itself is 1 11/16 inches deep. Now, they also give you the included three screws to mount this.
They are painted white on the head to match, and you get a little roll of butyl tape. If you've never used this stuff, butyl tape's basically like a putty construction. You can squish it down, and quite simply, you'll do your cutout, then you'll put the butyl tape around here, you'll push it in, you'll put the three screws in, and that's gonna compress and create a nice watertight, weathertight gasket seal there for the installation. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look today together. I wanna thank you for joining me.
Again, my name is Steven. Have fun out there on the trails.
