Question:

have heard conflicting comments re keeping spare tire under the van my van is the regular version if i mount your hitch can i mount my spare under the van? thanx

The Draw-Tite Hitch # 75122 that you referenced will fit your 2002 Chevy Astro van and will allow you to retain your full sized spare. We have had several customers leave reviews on this hitch and state that it fit well with their full sized spare.

If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
