Yes, the hitches compatible with a 2000 Chevy Blazer will fit all models of Blazers for that model year including the ZR2. For you application I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13020. This is a square tube design that is extremely sturdy and easy to install.
If you will be towing with this trailer hitch receiver, I recommend the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55411 which will let you quick-splice into your system and give you a 4-way flat connector.
For a ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5-1/2" Rise - 7.5K - Black # BWTS10038B. This is an adjustable mount to allow you to tow level. It has two hitch ball options for you to choose from and it has a nice stowable feature to give you a clean look and protect your shins when loading or unloading cargo.
