To set up this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount, insert the 2" x 2" shank into your hitch's receiver. Slide the 2-ball platform into the adjustable channel, then use the included pin and clip to secure the platform at the height you need. If you need to switch hitch balls, just remove the pin and clip, flip the ball platform over, and reinsert the pin and clip to secure the balls in place. It's that easy.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this BulletProof hitches light-duty adjustable two ball mount for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, this adjustable ball mount has a maximum of 10,000 pounds, and this is going to be ideal for light-duty towing. This is designed for Jeeps, SUVs, and half-ton trucks. This shank is going to slide into your two inch trailer hitch receiver, and this is going to work with vehicles with 20 inch to 21 inch clearance from the ground to the bottom of the inside of your receiver tube.
Now, this adjustable height is obviously gonna let you tow trailers of different heights all with the same vehicle. The hitch ball platform is going to slide up or down this channel very easily, and I'm just gonna go ahead and remove the included clip and pin here just to give you a brief demonstration of how easy this is going to be to adjust. So sliding that out there you can see just how easy this is going to be to slide up and down that channel. I've got it on the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball. I'm gonna go ahead and flip it over to the two inch ball, kinda line this up here a little bit and then run the pin through the holes here, just like that.
And then I'm going to replace the clip just like that. And I've got that wedged there at the bottom of the ball just to try to keep this level, so that's why it's a little bit awkward. It was a little bit awkward for me to adjust that. But as you can see, especially when this is on the back of your vehicle, when this is in your trailer hitch receiver, this is gonna be very easy to adjust. And you're not gonna be at the back of your truck or SUV struggling to try to get the height adjustment or the ball size that you need.
So this adjustable channel here is made of a quarter inch thick steel plates. And you probably saw here we have 3/8 of an inch thick welded gusset plate that's gonna brace the shank and the channel. And the pin and clip is made of heat treated steel to withstand heavy weight from the load. The zinc finish is gonna give corrosion resistance, so I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. You see that we have five adjustment holes here with five mounting positions that are available, giving you a maximum drop when you have it in this orientation of six inches.
And then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum rise also of about six inches. And then the adjustment hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch. So you can tow up to 8,000 pounds with the two inch ball and up to 10,000 pounds with the 2 5/16 inch ball. You're gonna have a maximum tongue weight capacity of 1000 pounds. I don't know if I mentioned this, but the hitch balls are welded to the ball platform, so that's gonna give you that extra sturdiness. This is made of light-duty steel construction, and this has one of my favorite things about BulletProof hitches is this matte textured powder coat finish that's going to protect this entire unit from rust and corrosion, even after repeated use. And plus, it's gonna look great on the back of your vehicle. The hitch pin hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch on both of those holes there. Now, a pin and clip or a hitch lock for securing this to the back of your vehicle is not included. You probably already have one, but if you don't, we do have those options available here at etrailer.com. Again, I look at this as kind of like an investment that you're making, so I would consider taking a look at our hitch pin lock options if you don't already have one, just to protect that investment as it's mounted on the back of your vehicle. Now, if you're wanting measurements in regards to clearance and things like that, take a look at this product page. We do have those measurements listed for you to help you determine if this is gonna work best for your particular application. This weighs altogether a little over 20 pounds, so again, it's light-duty, it's very manageable. And this does have a lifetime warranty from BulletProof hitches. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
