These SumoSprings Solo helper springs add up to 2,800 lbs of support at 50-percent compression, helping your suspension stay level and steady under weight. The microcellular urethane cushions bumps and smooths out rough roads while keeping the front end from sagging so your handling and headlight aim stay consistent when loaded.
Each spring is made from high-density microcellular urethane that compresses in stages as weight increases. Light loads engage softly for a smoother ride, while heavier loads are supported as the material compresses by as much as 80 percent. There’s no air pressure to monitor or tubing to run—just simple, maintenance-free performance every time you hit the road.
When uneven pavement or side winds try to throw you off line, these springs work independently to keep each side stable. That means less body roll on corners, less sway when turning into driveways, and better control overall when the road gets unpredictable.
These springs stand up to the elements with high-density urethane that resists abrasion, oils, road salts, and UV rays. They perform in temperatures from -25 F to 200 F and compress vertically with minimal side expansion, protecting them from damage in tight spaces. Extremely easy install! You will definitely have to have a floor Jack, there is no muscling the spring in without raising the frame.
ordered the wrong size initially but after talking to a rep from SumoSprings and realizing my mistake I was able to exchange them for the appropriate size for my needs. Customer service was excellent, and they make a huge difference with the plow on without serious effects to the ride.
when I received these front springs ( The rear are on back-order until freak'n March) having never used these things, the instructions say "take them apart" nowhere does it say "to get them apart, TWIST the adaptor plate off" ~~~ I guess Im not smart enough to figure THAT out. Installation looks super simple, when I get the stern springs installed, in a month, I'll write another, more detailed review. But for those who have never encountered this product, when you get them, TWIST (unscrew) the adaptor plate
These 1ton trucks are heavy, I went with the 8k front sumo springs. If you're lookingto soften up your ride all I can say from my experience, get you the medium to light rated sumo springs. I installed the timbren bump stops in the rear because I haul freight for a living & the front 8k sumo springs are overkill. When you hit good dips or bumps in the road its a ricochet effect.
I love these Sumo “springs”. eTrailer never disappoints me. I had Stoops in Lafayette Indiana install them for me. I knew when I left the parking lot I was going to like them. Side to side sway is gone. Potholes are a slight bit harsher but is a small price to pay for the MUCH better handling I now have.

Working great after one year.
Straight forward, simple, replacement for OEM springs. These springs make contact with the lower arms all the time and definitely help dampen the bounce effect from a heavier steel bumper. Any rolling effect from uneven roadways and turning is also reduced, it feels the vehicle is more stable. For my situation, this is the first step to take before considering replacing shocks, etc., and is very economical. I'll give it more time, but I believe this is all I'll need to do. Thanks etrailer! Product still doing its job! These should have been the OEM standard when the vehicle was new. Local truck only driving, long road trips with cargo trailer and weightrough roads, all in between, these springs definitely make the ride better.
I was unable to install them. I couldn't get enough droop to get them in place. I would have to disconnect both shocks and one sway bar link. Too much work. Returned them.
Just got the sumosprings put on my 2017 f250, took it for a short drive the ride seemed better then it was with the factory bump stops. I also put on a set of timbern super duty bump stops earlier. I really like this product, truck rides nice and doesn’t sag when I hookup to my 14000 pd catering trailer when fully loaded. Both products well definitely make my truck ride better.
