Question:

I have a 2024 Omni Class C motorhome 4x4 with a F-550 diesel chassis. When driving on open road, when pavement is grooved out from heavy rigs, my motorhome sways bad, Have slow down to 45 mph to control it. Thinking of adding front and rear sway bars with steering stabilizer and maybe sumo springs if need be, Would you think this would solve the problem? If so, what part numbers. the Ford chassis is a 2023 model.

Hello Bill, thanks for reaching out. Adding front and rear sway bars to your 2024 Omni Class C Motorhome will help a lot with stability, sway and overall ride quality. Sadly, Roadmaster does not offer a steering stabilizer for your vehicle, but we do have sway bars and sumo springs. Here is what I recommend for the Ford F550 Diesel chassis:

- Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar - 1-3/4" Diameter # RM35VR

- Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar - 1-3/4" Diameter # RM23ZR

- SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Front Axle # SSF-111-54

- SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SS54VR

Hey Bill, how did things turn out after adding the sway bars and SumoSprings to your Omni motorhome? Did they help reduce the sway on those grooved highways? Your feedback could really help others with the same F-550 chassis setup.
