Question:
Hi, I am looking to install the Sumo Springs #SSF-111-54 on the front of my 2017 F-350. Since this will sit on the axle itself and is substantially larger than the existing bump stops, do you know if this is going to raise the front end of my vehicle or will it keep the stock height and simply have better handling characteristics? I am not looking for a lift and was curious if they would maintain my current ride height.

Expert Reply:
Because the SumoSprings # SSF-111-54 will always be engaged on your 2017 Ford F-350 the stock suspension will not compress as much as it normally would. This will give you the feeling that there is lift though it isn't actually lifting anything it is just preventing the normal amount of stock suspension compression. You could go with a softer spring set, # SSF-111-40, which would allow the stock suspension to compress more than the heavier duty SumoSprings.
