Features to know about

Keep the Rear End Level and Confident: Up to 1,000 lbs of Load-Leveling Support

When hauling heavy gear or towing, your suspension can start to sag, throwing off your handling and braking. The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear add up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support inside your existing coil springs. They help your vehicle stay level under load so steering stays controlled, brakes feel consistent, and headlights stay properly aimed. By sharing the work with your factory springs, these air bags reduce tire wear and strain on your stock suspension parts.

Smooth Out the Ride and Cut the Sway: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi to 35 psi

A rough or uneven load can make your ride bounce around or lean to one side. With adjustable air pressure from 5 psi to 35 psi, you can fine-tune the support for every trip. Add air when hauling heavy weight or towing and drop the pressure when unloaded for a smoother drive. Each spring can even be inflated separately using dual air lines to level off-center loads. The molded polyurethane air bags absorb road shock and cut down on sway so the ride feels stable and planted on highways or rough roads.

Simple DIY Setup: Installs Inside Rear Coil Spring Suspension

Installing load support doesn’t have to mean tearing into your suspension. This kit fits directly inside your existing rear coil spring suspension using standard tools. It includes two air springs, two heat shields, tubing, Schrader valves, and hardware for manual inflation. The valves can mount through the bumper or another spot that’s easy to reach for quick air adjustments. For more control, you can later add an onboard compressor system (sold separately) to monitor and adjust pressure automatically.

Built Tough for Long-Term Use: Durable Molded Polyurethane Construction

Each air spring is made from durable molded polyurethane that stands up to repeated compression without leaks or cracks. Once installed, you get dependable support trip after trip without extra maintenance. The lifetime warranty and 60-day satisfaction guarantee back up the durability so you can focus on driving instead of worrying about worn-out springs or sagging suspension.

It has been working awesome!!

by:

Never found anyone to install them. Still ln my garage.

by:

Clamps have broken. This is not a very robust system.

by:

I can't tell you about the product, in that it just arrived here a short while ago. However, I can tell you that, in ordering, I had terrific help from Nick S. I was groping for just what it was that I needed and he was extremely patient and supportive. Good man! Give him a raise!!!

by:

A must have for a Jeep JL if you tow or have any weight on the back. Works GREAT!

by:

Haven't installed yet but it looks great

by:

Received the Air Lift sooner than expected and looks like easy install.

by:

Etrailer is my "go to" company. They consistently do a great job with product selection, tech information and delivery. Thanks!

by:

The one airbag ruptured halfway through our 7,000 mile cross country trip! So, we sagged for 3,500 miles.

by:

I received my order quickly. The install was easy and straight forward. I haven't had the opportunity to test them under load but they are hodling the initial 5 lbs of air for two weeks now.

by:

Easy to install and did exactly what I needed! Took the sag out of my rear springs caused by my roof top tent and gear.

by:

Shipped promptly and was easy to install when following video instructions. Performed great and meet my expectations.

by:

As advertised, but installing the air bladders in the coil springs was very difficult. Once installed, everything went fairly smooth. Looking forward to trying it out.

by:

I installed the air bags in my Jeep Rubicon and absolutely love them. They made it a totally different vehicle in handling and towing. I would strongly recommend them to anyone!!!!

by:

Fairly easy to install. Best to leave them in a warm area before hand if you are installing these in a cold setting. Other than that the worst part was running air lines.

by:

I put the airbags on my Wrangler 2dr for those occasions when I haul something heavy just to provide better handling and more stability. The results have been very satisfying. Installation was a breeze. Excellent product.

by:

Product does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Install was fairly easy. Hardest part was getting the bags in the springs but it wasn’t terribly difficult. I tow a 3000 pound pop up camper with my jeep wrangler JL unlimited and it levels out my load no problem

by:

Exactly what I needed to raise the rear end of my 2018 Jeep Rubicon due to sagging due to carrying (2) 70 lbs electric bikes via a hitch carrier. Easy to install and very durable. I highly recommend this product.

by:

Great addition to the JL. Did away with the squat. Very easy to install, toughest part was attaching tuning once bag were in, other than that very easy.

by:

Installed on a 2024 jeep 392. The install went pretty good, followed the advise of others to install air line to air bag before pushing air bag into the springs. I was a little surprised there was gap between the top of the two spaces and the vehicle stop when i let the jeep back down on the tires. but it does doe what it is suppose to do, lift the rear end under load. would have given 5 stars if there was not the gap.

by:

Great product, works great. This is my second set , different jeep.

by:

I have been using the Airlift 1000 system in my 2021 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited since the fall of 2021. They are used to assist ride leveling when towing our 2018 Airstream Basecamp Trailer. I have had to replace the left side airbag due to heat degradation and ultimate failure twice, the last time was this past weekend. The heat shield design is not adequate to protect the airbag
I have ordered three complete sets of airbags in total. The last complete set was just received and will stay on the shelf ready.
I have wrapped the exhaust pipe with header tape this time as well as using an additional heat shield from a previous set in hopes to prevent future issue
The airbags are inflated to 30 psi when towing and reduced to 15 psi when not towing the trailer.

I am glad you found some ways to hopefully prevent this issue going forward. This is definitely something I will pass along to AirLift to take a look at. Besides that I hope they are working well for you when you tow your Airstream. How often are you able to get out and tow it?

by:

This is the 4th set of these bags I have installed. The kit is complete and instructions are good.

by:

These air springs are one of the best investments you can make if you have a 4XE Wrangler. The battery pack is so heavy, I am finding after a couple of years the factory springs are getting too spongy and the body lean is more noticeable on the road especially cornering. Plus when you go over larger bumps the body sway is much more noticeable. I looked into an air spring set up but did not really want to spend several thousand dollars and I was surprised when I came across this set for under $[XX]. I was sceptical but thought, why not. They arrived in a small box and I was even more doubtful but when I opened it and took out the kit, I was impressed with the quality of the materials. I followed the instructions (with a few exceptions) and found them to be very easy to install. If you take your time with routing the air lines over the factory heat shields and carefully bring them to the rear drivers side, you can install them using the t connector. You can drill a hole through the thin part of the bumper right beside the license plate. There is just enough air line included to do this. The Schrader valve seats perfectly and makes it very convenient to add or bleed air from the system with only one adjustment. I set the springs at 12 psi and coupled with my after market adjustable shocks, I can make my Wrangler so smooth it feels more like a European SUV than a Jeep. Excellent product.

The air springs are still operating as well as the day I installed them. They do not leak any air pressure nor have they degraded in any way. What a great and simple solution that lasts.

  • What Suspension Enhancement Is Best for Reducing Sag When Towing with a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X
Hi Donald, The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement part # TJRJK is a fit for a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and installs by replacing your factory bump stops above your rear axle. Timbrens are easy to install and once they're on there isn't any maintenance required afterward for them to do their job when you're towing. As more weight is added onto the rear axle, the rubber springs get more rigid to support it and reduce any sagging. They're rated for up to 2,400lbs of load support, which...

I attached an install video for you to check out as well. Are you beefing up the coils to go do fun Jeep stuff?

  • Front Suspension Enhancement for a 2025 Jeep Wrangler
Hey, Steven! The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60829 will fit your 2025 Jeep Wrangler, but only for the rear. The best option for the front axle of your Jeep would be SumoSprings Solo part # SSF-402-54 or the Coil SumoSprings part # CSS-1168F. Both of these would have similar affects as the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs and would give you that support you are looking for. Are you planning to carry something on the front of your Jeep?

  • Will The Air Lift 1000 AL60829 Work On A 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL With A 2.5" Lift?

The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60829 which are a fit for a 2021 Jeep Wrangler are only confirmed for factory coil springs. If you have aftermarket coil springs as part of your lift we cannot confirm fit. That said, I can give you the size of the spring (4.9" wide x 6” tall) which you can then use to confirmed fit on your aftermarket coil springs. The air spring does not need to fill the entire height of the coil spring but the width does need to be pretty...

  • Pro and Cons of Air Bags Versus a Weight Distribution System for a 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler
For your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler, I recommend using a weight distribution system, the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution part # HT32215 for 2" hitch ball or part # HT32216 for 2-5/16" hitch ball. The main reason I recommend a weight distribution system over airbags like the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60829 is because the weight distribution system has integrated sway control. Now, you may not think that because you have a light trailer that trailer...

These air bags are confirmed to fit all models of your 2021 Jeep by simply using the included spacers in the correct position. • Can You Use Weight Distribution on a NuCamp Tag XL Tear Trailer
I do have an option for you but there isn't hardly any space on the tongue of a NuCamp Tag XL Teardrop Trailer so I don't think weight distribution would be a good choice as there is nowhere for the frame hanger brackets to mount. It's a pretty light trailer so if you're having issues with sway you can install a sway control device like the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control part # 335TSC-1000. I do recommend using the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear # AL60829 to pull your 3000 lb utility trailer.
