Question:

I have a 16 foot toy hauler trailer. I do have the correct weight distribution hitch and use it when I am carrying a motorcycle in the trailer which helps the SAG issue to some degree. however , when there’s no motorcycle in the trailer the extra hitch bars make the Ride in the vehicle absolutely impossible . the trailer pulls fine without the hitch bars attached when no motorcycle is in the trailer . however , the rear of the jeep sags too much. I need some type of raising of the rear end when trailer is attached approximately 3 to 4 inches. Ideas please. More than appreciated.

To raise the rear of your 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL 4 door you have a couple options.

The first option you mentioned that you already have a weight distribution that works well for you when you have the motorcycle in your toy hauler trailer. Depending on your system you are using they may offer some lighter weight bars that will work with the weight of your empty trailer. If you can let me know which weight distribution system you are using and what the trailer tongue weight is of your empty trailer I can help you to see if there is an option available for your current system.

Secondly the next best route would be to have some Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60829 installed inside the coil springs of your Jeep. These would allow for you to not sacrifice any ride quality when you do not have a load on your Jeep. You will be able to adjust the air pressure in the air bags between 5psi and 35psi to help to compensate for your specific trailer load.

An Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980EZ can be used to adjust the air pressure from the wireless remote. This will make it convenient and simple to adjust the air pressure to level your ride height and adjust for comfort as you drive.
